It’s a lovely property in a quiet, very scenic location. It’s a convenient base for exploring the wider area. We enjoyed our chats with Bruce and Pat’s pretty tulips. We had a very enjoyable 5 day stay there.

Thank you so much for taking time to review our property 😊
From my first initial enquiry to our walking out the door, Pat could not have been a better host. The property was all that we needed, and more. It was perfectly placed for all the areas we wanted to visit, and I know for a certainty that we will be back!

Thank you so much a pleasure to meet such a lovely family 😊
The cottage is set up beautifully for a group of 6 adults. Plenty of space, everything you might need and a nice outdoor area to relax and watch the sheep and the countryside. Secluded and quiet but easy to get to towns and sites. A special thanks to Pat for being so responsive to any query we had both before and during our stay. We all enjoyed our time in Shropshire!

Wonderful Property with excellent hosts
We had an idyllic stay at Harry's house. It is very well equipped and comfortable. The hosts were quick to act when there was an issue (out of their control) on the first night so that we were impacted as little as possible and felt valued and looked-after. Thank you!

It was a pleasure to have such a lovely family stay in our cottage 😊
The cottage was lovely and clean, with plenty of amenities. We were looking for a quiet and stress-free place to stay and this certainly met that requirement. Beautiful view of the countryside from the patio area outside and an upstairs sitting room (there is a downstairs seating area too). It is down a private drive, which only leads to the owner’s house and two other privately owned cottages, so you very much get the feel of being in the middle of nowhere. Pat and Bruce, who own this cottage, were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely book to stay there again in the future.

It was a pleasure to meet you both have you stay in Our cottage and to leave it so clean and tidy x
The property was situated far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. It had old-fashioned charm with every modern convenience. The views from the upstairs window and the patio were stunning. We spent many happy hours watching the birds and spotting the wild life in the company of the sheep on the farm in a nearby field. the owners were on hand and very friendly but not intrusive. It was a relaxing holiday with lots of places to visit within driving distance. A little gem.

Lovely spacious home from which our family could explore beautiful Shropshire
Harry's House was a lovely base from which our young family (mum, dad and three children aged 10, 7 and 3) could relax and explore the area, rich in countryside, history, outdoor pursuits and other attractions.
Situated in a very rural setting about 15 mins south of Bridgnorth, Harry's House had sufficient space that even mum and dad could get some peace in the evening whilst the kids slept at the other end of the property and enjoyed a fabulous second living room. The house was clean on arrival and easy to keep clean, and has the benefit of 3 ensuite bathrooms. The owners, Pat and Bruce, live close by and are very friendly and helpful as required.
We had a lovely week at Harry's House during the October half-term.

Spacious and well equipped property in a lovely rural setting
If you want to stay in the thick of things, this property is not for you. But if you want to stay in a well decorate, spacious house in stunning, quiet surroundings with lots to do a short car ride away then this is just the place. There were only four of us, but there would have been plenty of space for everyone even if we had been six (something I have not always found). Just a few more tweeks and you could have called it a luxury property - so exeptional value for money. Bridgnorth was easily accessed for take aways and there are some interesting National Trust properites nearby. We also went into Wales for White Water Rafting and Darky Dale Stables (combined with a peak around Ludlow) for horseriding. You can also book cannoeing on the river Severn. A great place to holiday for a family with teens.
We didn't see the owners much, but it was easy to contact them with we needed them and they seemed like a lovely couple.

Nice property, lovely area, problematic hosts
It's an attractive property,in a very nice rural area - rather remote for some of our family. No shop for miles. But the serious downside was the owners. They live in the farmhouse opposite but didn't greet our party on arrival. In fact the first contact with them ewas when they came to complain about the number of people we had. One of our sons with his 5 year old daughter failed to return to London the day we expected. So instead of having the maximum of 6 we had 4 adults and 3 children aged 11, 8 and 5. After we left they messaged us to say "never in 30 years had our property left in such a filthy condition" (sic). As evidence of this they sent a photo of the hob - clean except for a tiny piece of what looked like pasta and when I asked for more evidence sent another photo showing the clean worktop by the sink with a few water splashes on it. Filthy? I think not! And they repeated their complain about the number of people. One of our sons complained about cobwebs and spiders in their bathroom.
I asked them to reconsider their complaints but they just doubled-down. I wouldn't go back.
We loved the property, The property is easily good for 6 adults although there were only for of us, the setting is magnificent, the property is nicely kept and everything needed is there. It is good to know Pat is on hand if anything is required but there was nothing else we needed.

Thank you so much for spending time to write a review much appreciated
Harry's House is a delight. Roomy, comfortable, cosy, with all the facilities to make this a perfect place for a few days holiday.
The house itself is lovely, the owners very helpful and there is no doubt in my mind that 5 stars are merited.
The only minor drawback is that the house is a good two miles along narrow roads from the main B road. On one or two lanes it would be difficult to pass, but since there is so little traffic this caused us no problems.
Near Bridgnorth which is a charming town, there are many things to do in the area being only a few miles from Telford and the Ironbridge, Ludlow Worcester etc so a great place to start from! Restaurants in Bridgnorth are numerous and we had a marvellous Indian meal at the Himalaya and a lovely lunch at the Pheasant at Neenton., both recommended by the owners of Harry's House.

You were perfect guests
Hope you have a healthy and happy Christmas 😊
A lovely property - comfortable and well provided. Beautiful view from upstairs sitting room and from back terrace.
Very peaceful setting within easy reach of many interesting places. Overall - excellent.
Lovely comfortable cottage with 3 good sized bedrooms each with an en-suite. Loved the kitchen with its breakfast bar. Sadly we didn't make the most of the private patio as the weather was rather cool and cloudy but we still had a lovely relaxing family time together.
Plenty of walks, places of interest and pubs with good food.
We had our morning coffee on the patio looking out over the hills and sheep. It was lovely and quiet, really peaceful. Kitchen diner was great to have us all together when cooking. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms spot on. We went for a walk whilst the sun went down one evening which was beautiful. We also visited The Down Inn for dinner and we went to Apley farm shop and got some meats and local ale. House was just what we needed for a catch up.
