City of La Grange offers lots of Texas history, Muster oak and Monument Hill honor the heroes of the Republic of Texas battle against the Mexicans. Rabbs Prairie is one of the largest land grants in the area to William Rabb for his commitment to Gen Steven F. Austin's exploratory expeditions up the Colorado river in early 1800's.
