My parents bought the property in 1945, it was part of 5 acres and there were lots of horse riding schools in the area. Constantia Lazy River was part of the old stables. We border on the greenbelt and face the back of Table Mountain. I have lived here all my life and love Cape Town and South Africa. I come from a show business family . My father brought many famous artist to perform in South Africa. I therefore have a strong appreciation for the Arts, the theatre etc. We love animals and love long walks on the beach and the mountain with them. We are out door type people who are down to earth and love nature, camping and family Sundays. I love being a guest house owner as I love people and all there stories.

Constantia Lazy River is a home from home where families will feel relaxed, the garden is made for kids and the units are spacious for longer stays, people relocating or extended holidays. Our guests are made to feel welcome and many of them become life long friends. The units are also all very private if one wants to be quiet and reflect. All the units are self catering and have their own entrances. Constantia is very central to all the sites and it is a lovely part of the Cape that has very little wind. If you like eating, we are the place to reside as we have some of the best rated restaurants 1 min drive away. Constantia is amazing as it has so much wonderful history, you can see this when you explore all the old wine farms in the area. The area is luscious and green with lots of greenbelts and paths for amazing trials.

As I have lived here for over 50 years I feel attached to the property , we have space and beautiful views and scenery. Bougnevilla grows very well and we are proud of our fantastic display of a variety of beautiful colors. The property is central to all the sights and both oceans and it tend to be very protected from the Cape wind. The garden is made for kids with a play area for them, the pool is a good size with many lounges for guests at the poo and privately outside each unit. We are available most times to help with advice on good restaurants or things to do and see. The unit are spacious for longer stays and relocations. We welcome all types of travelers, families, corporate, longer stays, singles, gay community etc.
