Acogedora cabaña de 2 dormitorios rodeada de tierras de cultivo cerca del área de Saginaw Bay Fish Point. Se admiten animales, ¡manténgalos fuera de los muebles y limpie después de ellos! ABSOLUTAMENTE NO FUMAR DENTRO DE LA CABINA
Un dormitorio tiene 2 reinas y el segundo tiene una cama queen y una cama doble tipo loft, baño completo con agua caliente a pedido, completamente abastecido, solo traiga su comida. Cada habitación tiene un televisor y ropa de cama, almohadas. Tenemos una perrera para perros cementada al aire libre. Hay una fogata y parrilla de gas. Tenemos a alguien que se encuentra con todos los invitados para registrarlos.

Our stay was quite disappointing. The cabin was in serious need of a good cleaning. The floors needed a good wash, most of the dishes and flatware appeared unclean. There was no coffee for the coffee pot and the pot itself looked as though it had not been cleaned in a while. Probably the most disappointing was the refrigerator which was not chilling at all and the freezer portion of the unit only had freezing capability on the very bottom. Consequently, we ended up having to throw out much of the provisions we brought that needed refrigeration. We were in communication with the host immediately when we realized there was a problem and while she did respond, there was no resolution for the duration of our stay. This had happened to us once before with a vacation rental and the owner was kind enough to provide a credit for the major inconvenience created by not having refrigeration. Not a peep from this host and or owner.We also struggled with the wi-fi; the password was either wrong or the wi-fi was not operational.Would love to be able to stay again in the future as I have relatives in the area and there aren't many other options, but this place needs some serious TLC.

Cabin in Unionville

Clean cabin. Fully stocked kitchen. Saw a bald eagle sitting in a field less than 1/4 mile from house. Beautiful sunrises! Just a heads up… don’t drink the water. It has a sulfur smell & taste. ( it’s the area… ever house is this way) Not a deal breaker… but you will want to have water to drink, coffee & brush your teeth. Lots of sleeping space…(4 beds & a futon) very peaceful! Very few cars go by & can’t hear traffic on M-25.

Gospel concert in Sebewaing

I love the area and the looks of the beautiful wood in the cabin. It was so quiet and relaxing. The only thing I didn’t really care for which I don’t know if it’s a big deal or not is that there was food there and if not use that will definitely cause critters to come. There was a lot of stuff there too that I didn’t know whose stuff it was. I guess I just rather bring my own. Otherwise everything was great.

Second Time Around

My Spouse and I stayed here last year and knew then that we would return. Well tended fields, some newly planted, surround this cabin, one can see for miles. Then there is Saginaw Bay (fishing anyone?) and the sunsets. We'll be back.

3 of us stayed here while we fished walleye on the Saginaw Bay. The cottage is in close proximity to several launches. Would stay again.

Such a Delight!

Spent the first day of Summer 2022 here, so glad we did. That we were comfortable during those 90 degree days tells me this cabin is four season snug. The location is both wide open and very private, perfect for my artist wife. Me, I like to fish and got plenty of that in. Birders take note: Fish Point Wildlife Refuge is a couple of minutes away. Fantastic bird habitat. I imagine more than a couple of duck hunters know about this cabin.

Peaceful little Place in the middle of corn fields and wind turbines

We were looking for a quiet getaway to enjoy some family time away from the hustle & bustle. This property fit the bill perfectly! It was super relaxing sitting on the front porch watching the wind turbines spin. It’s well water so make sure you bring plenty of bottled water and bagged ice. The mosquitoes were so crazy (like everywhere this year) so we weren’t able to be outside much in the evening to take advantage of the fire pit. Overall a great stay recommended if you want to escape the city!

Great place to stay in quiet area

The house was perfect for our group of fishermen. Close to marina yet in a quiet farm setting. Beds were comfortable and living area was great for relaxing. Kitchen was well equipped but a little disorganized due to too many pots, pans and countertop appliances. Great place overall and we'll definitely stay there again next time we're in the area.

My husband Terry of 34 yrs lost his battle with cancer in 2023. Terry was an avid hunter and we purchased this cabin for its location to Fish Point. We had been breeders of Labrador Retrievers for 23 yrs and wanted to open our cabin to people to travel with their pets. We have been renting the cabin since May 2016 and have had people not only from all over the United States, but all around the world. I try to keep the cabin well stocked with food staples that the past renters leave for the next group and the same with toiletries .

My husband wanted a property close to the Saginaw Bay for waterfowl hunting & walleye fishing. It is nicely located to many activities in the Michigan thumb.
