About this property

The Farmhouse of Villa Migliorati

In the pristine countryside near Florence. The stone villa is independent, with sun terrace and garden overlooking the infinity pool and the valley planted with olive trees. Expertly restored and furnished with pieces of the ancient Tuscan tradition. The dominant position compared to the rest of the village guarantees absolute privacy. For an exclusive stay in environments that are the result of a quality restoration in the recovery of ancient fires, stones and wood.
Rooms: 3 double beds. Living room: 1 double sofa bed.
In the adjacent annex, but not communicating from the inside, suite with 1 double bed and 1 single.
Garden and large sun terrace with patio, table for outdoor meals and barbecues and private rooms overlooking the infinity pool and the valley of olive trees.
The pool area and its large garden can be shared with other guests. We live in the immediate vicinity and we are happy to help you during your stay. It is possible to organize typical Tuscan dinners, barbecues and cooking lessons.

Arrival time: after 16.00 - Departure time before 10.00

The price includes: electricity, water, gas for kitchen use - weekly linen - park and swimming pool with solar hot outdoor shower.
The fee does not include: cot and high chair added on request for children up to 3 years € 100 per week.

A charming old world villa with spectacular views!

The hosts are accommodating and friendly. We were greeted with a traditional home-cooked meal which was so delicious and authentic! The villa is filled with so much history and beauty. We hope to return sometime.

Amazing Villa - Amazing Host!

This property was off the charts amazing. We had the main villa plus one room and it was perfect for our large family. Cristina, her mom and brother were such gracious hosts and if you want a cooking class - Cristina can teach you to make a mean ravioli & Tiramisu.

Magical Place.

We used the woodfired oven and made our own pizza, swam in the pool and visited the fantastic beach club nearby. This was an experience straight out of a movie and one that I will last a lifetime. The host was super professional and helpful. Will dream of coming back.

And… relax!

The villa suited our family’s needs wonderfully and having the terrace with the gorgeous view over the Tuscan hills was fabulous. We hadn’t realised that the pool is shared with a small number of other families staying in other parts of the property, but it wasn’t a problem and the pool was never overcrowded. Cristina was so helpful and I would happily stay again.

We was so happy to stay at the villa, was so perfect! The house is up on the hill , little bit hard to find. You do need a car to stay there. The little town near buy you can have a fantastic food ! Love the setting , gorgeous view !! Pool was great in hot days . We love the cooking class with Christina and her mom . Was so much fun to learning how to make ravioli, tiramisu…They serve dinner after class and was so delicious!! We would like to come back ! Highly recommend.

Rustic Tuscan Stay

The house is nicely laid out, with beautiful furnishings, gorgeous Tuscan valley views, outdoor dining, and an infinity pool. The downsides are that the house comes with stinkbugs - flying around the kitchen as you cook - no heating system that guests can activate themselves, a blocked fireplace chimney, and a kitchen that would benefit from more cooking utensils and kitchenware. We had a nice time, but the house was cold. I can imagine it would be a wonderful place to stay when it's warmer weather and the cool house becomes a relief from the heat.

Just as beautiful as it looks

We had a wonderful stay in Cristina’s villa and the surroundings were breathtaking. The villa was built in the 13th C. but has been beautifully restored while preserving a totally traditional feel. We were sorry to leave and would love to return. The only addition comments I will add were that travelers should be prepared to provide their own soap, dish soap, etc. There was next to nothing in the house and even the toilet paper ran out. I guess that with these types of rentals it is hit or miss - some owners provide these things and some don’t. Also - for those who wonder about laundry - there is a washer and dryer but the dryer is not for renters. We didn’t realize that in advance. The property is truly spectacular and Cristina, her brother, and her mother were absolutely lovely. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Gorgeous setting!

This is a wonderful property in a gorgeous setting - however, if any of your party suffers car sickness, the winding mountain road to it may cause issues, as it did for one of us. Two things that would improve it would be taking care of the horrible mildew smell under the sink where trash is located, and the extremely loud front door that needs to be planed off the bottom so one can enter/exit without waking up the entire household. Smaller issues were the toilets that gurgled all night and our inability to figure out how to turn on the heat in the bathrooms. But fixing the lack of gas to the stove was done quickly and it is a lovely place with friendly, hard-working owners. (Telling guests not to follow car GPS, but to take the road that actually has a sign for Vaiano would have saved us time and anxiety going up the wrong mountain road, too - a few instructions for future guests.)

Toscane Juillet 2023

Complexe de maisons abritant plusieurs vacanciers. Le site est en flanc de montagne avec une vue dégagée très agréable. La partie de la maison louée, sur 1 étage (rdc 3 chambres/Salle de bain), était bien à l'écart des autres habitants avec une terrasse privative très grande munie d'un barbecue au top. En revanche la 4ème chambre nécessitait de sortir de la maison car à part du reste de la maison... Nous ne l'avons pas utilisée... Les toilettes étants eux dans les salles de bains de chaque chambres. La maison n'est pas très bien équipé en terme d'ustensiles de cuisine, pas de micro-onde, de machine à café, manque d'ustensiles. La piscine n'est pas privative et beaucoup de consignes restrictives sont contraignantes (mettre ses tongs jusqu'au bord de la piscine, ne pas sauter, ne pas fumer autour, ne pas boire.....) au risque de recevoir des sms ou mails rappelant les consignes. Ce qui est compliqué avec 4 enfants. En revanche cette maison reste très agréable à plusieurs car beaucoup d'espace dans la pièce principale ainsi que la terrasse munie d'une grande cuisine idéale pour préparer de grands repas. D'une manière globale le séjour fût très agréable car la toscane est un endroit magique et les gens très accueillants et sympathiques (surtout avec les enfants ce qui est très appréciable).

Wunderschönes Anwesen

Das Anwesen ist wunderschön allerdings ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Der Pool, die Aussicht und das Anwesen mit dem Garten, den vielen Pflanzen ist traumhaft. Wir haben für unseren ersten Abend ein BBQ gebucht, was fantastisch war. Aber… Die Bäder sind winzig und teilweise nicht sauber. Die Duschvorhänge sind unten schon schwarz und müssten dringend ausgetauscht werden. Die Sauberkeit in den Räumen könnte überall besser sein. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, was in den Sommermonaten dringend nötig ist. Die Räume heizen sich ordentlich auf. Der Pool schließt abends bereits um 20 Uhr. Gerade in den heißen Zeiten möchte man auch später am Abend noch einmal in den Pool. Ansonsten waren die Außenbereiche sehr gepflegt und wunderschön angelegt. Der Blick ins Tal ist traumhaft.

Relaxation under the Tuscan sun!

We traveled to Italy with 6 adults...the property is exactly as it looks online. Cristina was very engaging and helpful to us as our fell apart at the airport when arriving from France. Cris helped us arrange tours and a private taxi driver to come and get us and take us around Florence - even an early morning pickup to go to the train station at 5 am. She arranged Covid tests for us as well...which was amazing. Cristina, Mama and Ricardo were kind, helpful and so much fun. If you decide to book - remember this villa is in the Tuscany hills and you will need a car. It is also a very old (beautiful) villa built a long time ago so the electricity from time to time would blow a circuit which was no big deal...we had stink bugs but Cristina was on it and brought us spray to remedy the situation. It was a lovely stay and all of us would stay here again. The Cooking class was amazing and well worth the $$. 4 of the 6 of us participated and LOVED every minute of it....the food was amazing as well as the vino! Thank you Cristina, Mama and Ricardo for making our first trip to Italy one to remember.

Wir wurden herzlich von Cristina und ihrer Familie willkommen geheißen. Cristinas Mutter führte uns durch den Garten des Grundstücks und versorgte uns mit frischen Früchten. Anregungen wurden gern aufgenommen, kleinere Missstände umgehend behoben. Stets gab es einen Ansprechpartner auf dem Grundstück. Lediglich die Installation im Nebengebäude unseres Hauses ließ zu wünschen übrig – da bedarf es wohl einer umfangreicheren Reparatur. Lage und Atmosphäre dieses Feriendomizils waren sehr erfreulich, wir hatten zwei fabelhafte Wochen in Savignano.
