Experience the Corsican Life

The house is very convenient for a family stay. The location is great, very close to many nice beaches and cute mountain & coastal towns. The wifi works very well. The kitchen is spacious and has all the necessary tools. We enjoyed having breakfasts in the garden. The only recommendation would be renewing the towels. Overall a great stay! Thank you.

Fantastic, spacious villa with stunning views of surrounding mountains, sea and Calvi.

The villa is in a quiet, secluded spot and split in two with the owners living in one half. It is very spacious and airy, and has its own private front and rear terraces with terrific views. It is well maintained and clean, the kitchen is well equipped, all towels and lined are provided, and there is free wifi. It has its own private swimming pool which our two children loved playing in. The area around Calvi is extremely beautiful with many picturesque villages and places to eat. The owners had obviously given it a lot of thought, were very friendly and helped make our stay very enjoyable. Thank you!

Magnifique semaine passée chez Marie et Yves. Contact très amical et serviable, un GRAND merci pour tous les différents petits conseils sur les choses à voir/faire dans les environs. Nous avons eu un très bon acceuil sans complications malgré notre heure d'arrivée tardive. Merci pour tout ! C'est avec grand plaisir que nous reviendrons :)

Top Ferienwohnung mit toller Ausstattung und Ausblick

Wir waren zu dritt und fanden eine sehr schöne und große Ferienwohnung vor. Ein großer Pool, welcher sogar ausreichend tief zum Schwimmen war und eine fantastische Aussicht auf die Küste und die Berge. Die Gastgeber waren beide sehr freundlich. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr umfangreich (Ausreichend für 8 Personen). Auch können beide Terrassen je nach Sonnenstand genutzt werden. Wir haben uns mehr auf den Loungemöbeln aufgehalten. Das Objekt liegt etwas abseits von Calvi in einer ruhigen Gegend. Man ist jedoch schnell auf der Hauptstraße und kommt gut in alle Richtungen von Korsika weg. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar. Das der Strand etwas weiter weg ist, hat uns nicht gestört. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß und war auch warm. Liegen und Sonnenschirm sind auch wie auf dem Foto zu erkennen vorhanden. Wir hatten das gesamte Objekt für uns alleine - schade das wir nur 5 Nächte vor Ort waren. Wir können die Unterkunft allen die sich im Norden von Korsika aufhalten sehr empfehlen und werden sicher noch einmal zurückkommen.

Tolle Lage, sehr nette Gastgeber

Gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit allem was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die zwei Terrassen, eine zum Frühstück und die andere zum Abendessen mit Blick auf das Meer und Calvi. Der wunderschöne Pool und die herrlich ruhige Lage haben unseren Urlaub zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Vielen Dank an unsere sehr netten Gastgeber.

Einfach toll!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Marie und Yves sehr genossen! Wir wurden wirklich herzlich empfangen und auch bei Fragen waren beide immer ansprechbar. Unseren Kindern hat natürlich der Pool besonders gut gefallen. So ein großer Pool mit Blick aufs Meer ist aber auch wirklich etwas besonderes! Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, top. Mein persönliches Highlight: mit einem Glas Wein den Sonnenuntergang über der Bucht von Calvi auf der Terrasse genießen!

Urlaub im Paradies

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der traumhafte Pool, die Wohnung, in der kein Wunsch offen bleibt und der gigantische Ausblick auf das Meer und die Berge. Wir vermissen die Sonnenuntergänge jetzt schon und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen mit den tollen Gastgebern Marie und Yves!

Vacances à LUMIO du 30/08 au 06/09 2021

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette location. La propriété est très belle et très confortable. Nous étions 4 adultes, l'espace de vie est très spacieuse et bien aménagé. Les propriétaires sont très à l'écoute sans aucunement rentrer dans notre espace de vie. La piscine est très propre et très accessible Les équipements ménagers sont de très bonne qualité Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie est correcte. L'emplacement par rapport à la mer permet d'avoir une vue magnifique sur la mer depuis la terrasse. Il faut un véhicule pour les courses et les déplacements dans la région. Base perfetta per esplorare la regione, o per godersela tout court!

La struttura è comoda, accogliente e pulita con tutto il necessario e un bel po' di superfluo: spazi ampi e tutto funziona. Due belle terrazze tutte da vivere: una verso il mare per colazione e aperitivo, l'altra che si affaccia sui monti per la cena, con un piccolo barbecue. Bella piscina, grande, anche profonda, con una rinfrescante ombreggiatura il pomeriggio e sdraio per prendere il sole. È un po' sacrificata la seconda camera al pianterreno, senza aperture verso l'esterno. Posizione ottima in tranquillo quartierino residenziale "bene". Bella vista sul mare (che tramonti!) e l'affascinante cittadella di Calvi. Da qui si accede facilmente alla magnifica regione costiera tra Calvi e Ile Rousse e agli incantevoli villaggi dell'entroterra, nonché alle imponenti montagne retrostanti. Accoglienza molto amabile, con disponibilità graziosissima dei proprietari, per altro molto cortesi ma anche discreti e pratici. Nessuna limitazione per il nostro accesso esclusivo alla piscina, sebbene risulti "in condivisione", ma giustamente niente schiamazzi dopo un certo orario. Complessivamente, anche considerando il prezzo assolutamente concorrenziale, un indirizzo da consigliare senza riserve e presso il quale torneremmo molto volentieri!

Séjour de rêve en Corse du Nord

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans la très belle propriété de Marie et Yves. Les propriétaires sont à l'écoute et très disponibles (maison juste à côté) mais pour autant savent être discrets. Nous avons pu profiter pleinement de la piscine qui est grande avec sièges et parasols pour se reposer. Le quartier est calme et situé à 8 minutes de Calvi. La vue depuis la terrasse est magnifique et nous avons aussi apprécié celle depuis la cuisine sur le maquis et les montagnes proches. A noter que tout est fourni (linges de lit, bains et linges pour piscine), il y a également tout le nécessaire pour la cuisine, thé, café, sucre, huile, vinaigre... ce qui est très appréciable quand on arrive. Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve et si nous devons revenir sur Calvi, nous reviendrons sans hésiter dans la propriété de Marie et Yves.

Schönes Haus, tolle Umgebung!

Großartig der freie Blick auf die Bucht von Calvi und wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge von der Terrasse vor dem Haus, sowie der freie Blick auf die Berge und Sonnenaufgänge von der Terrasse hinter dem Haus. Mehr als ausreichend Platz für vierköpfige Familie im gut eingerichteten Haus. Großer Pool mit Alleinnutzung, an dem sich gut ein ganzer Tag verbummeln lässt. Sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Vermieter, die die zweite Haushälfte bewohnen. Günstig gelegen für Ausflüge nach Calvi oder Ile de Rousse. Der Strand von Bodri mit weißem Sand und türkisgrünem Wasser eine Viertelstunde entfernt. Mehrere Strände in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Fangotal mit seinen Gumpen - unser Favorit - in einer Dreiviertelstunde erreichbar. Kommen gerne wieder!

Lovely house, fab pool and amazing views

This place was just right for our family of four. The location is excellent, only 10 mins drive from airport, set back up the hill from Calvi with superb views over the bay and spectacular sunsets. The house including two outside areas is spacious and very well equipped to cook in and relax. There’s TV & wifi if you want it, lots of clean towels and some really useful extras like a hairdryer, dishwasher tablets, oil and garlic and even a bottle of local wine in the fridge. The owners live in the adjoining house, are very helpful, speak good English and are friendly and relaxed. We loved the pool and especially its position catching the sun all day and with the best views especially at sunset. The area is great for visiting Calvi (a few minutes by car), a number of sandy beaches and there are plenty of mountain walks nearby too.

The perfect location | Lovely hosts

We (2 adults, 6 years old daughter) enjoyed our stay very much. The house is located in a quiet surrounding. It is furnished very nice and equipped above-average. With the 2 terraces you can enjoy the sun at any time of the day. The location is perfect to disover nothern corsica. Our daughter enjoyed the pool very much with a lot of accessoires provided like swim noodles, floating tires and so on ... The view to the sea is wonderful and the hosts Marie and Yves are lovely and very helpful - thanks for a wonderful time - we surely will come back againg :-)!

Eine liebevoll gepflegte Location mit großartigem Blick auf Calvi, die Berge und das Meer!

Wir waren im Juni 2018 für eine Woche im Apartment/Haushälfte und waren/sind begeistert. Ruhige Lage mit morgendlicher Sonne beim Frühstück mit Sicht auf die Berge und Abends - andere Hausseite - auf einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang in der Bucht von Calvi. Am großen Pool - alleinige Nutzung- lässt sich die Nachmittagszeit entspannt und erfrischend verbringen. Von vielen Unterkünften auf Korsika unser Favourite! Für uns als junges Paar mit Kind ein wirklich schöner Ort mit sehr netten und immer hilfsbereiten Nachbarn (Vermieter).
