Large modern house situated on the south coast of São Miguel Island, with sea and mountain views that provides a pleasant experience for the rest and socializing of those who visit us.

With trade, services, swimming pools and beaches not more than 5 minutes away is the perfect location for your rest.

The house consists of 5 bed rooms, 3 bathrooms inside, 2 kitchens (one inside and one outside near the pool, both full equipped), one dining room, 2 living rooms (one with electronic fire place and the other with heat exchanger fireplace), swimming pool, hot tub for 6 people with shower, outside lounge zone, outdoor bathroom, barbecue area, garden and parking place up to 6 cars (within the house).

Family/friend retreat

Property extremely nice and we liked the quaintness of Lagoa versus downtown ponta Delgado. The only issue was on Tuesday only 1 restaurant was open even though their websites said open. It wasn’t hosts fault but we had to walk quite a ways to get dinner. Also it would have been great to have balconey furniture off of 2 upper bedrooms and a working dryer.

Great family vacation home

Overall, I would highly recommend this home. Be aware though that there is no air conditioning and it does get pretty hot there in the summer. The owner did supply fans on request. The house was supplied with coffee, Portuguese cheese, biscuits, wine and beer which was a delightful surprise. The outdoor eating area gave us space for great family dinners.

Absolutely wonderful stay in Lagoa on the beautiful island of San Miguel!

This house was amazing! Exactly as described in the ad. Very close to restaurants and grocery shopping. Easy access to the major highway to visit all the wonderful sites and landscapes of the island. The owners were fantastic. Communications excellent! Easy and worry free experience! Would highly recommend this property ! Lots of thoughtful touches that were unexpected and made our stay even more delightful! 5 🌟 all the way. Thank you so much!

São Miguel Gem!

We came for a family trip from the US. There were 10 of us, 8 adults, 2 kids. The host, Pedro was so accommodating- he left us fans for each bedroom, a car seat, snacks and wine in the kitchen. The house was perfect with multiple living areas and so much outdoor space! The outdoor kitchen and wood-fired grill made for lovely evenings! The pool is beautiful ! Everything so clean and well taken care of. For those of you who have kids and rent this place, it’s great because the property is gated all the way around and also a secure gate to the pool area too. If you take a walk and go right down the street, there is a wonderful petting zoo type place with barnyard animals, pony rides, chickens and goats. They sell feed and carrots to give to the many animals! Also, they have a small playground and multiple trampolines! Kids loved it there! Go ahead and rent this house, I guarantee you will love it as we did! São Miguel is a dream come tetéu! Muito Obrigada to Pedro and your family!

Nice property, great location

First, the hosts were very responsive and helpful. They met us upon our arrival early in the morning and provided an overview of the property. The home itself is spacious and very clean. The pool area offered nice relief after days of hiking and exploring. Lagoa is an ideal location for visitors, especially first time visitors like ourselves. It neighbors Ponta Delgada and its many attractions but is also nicely situated near the main road for easy access to more remote areas of the San Miguel island. We were extremely pleased with our vacation home and look forward to our next visit.

Tolles Haus, wunderschön angelegter Garten, ruhige und schöne Lage, super Pool , alles Notwendige war vorhanden, sehr nette Vermieter, die uns mit einheimischen Produkten überrascht haben, komplikationslose Abwicklung beim Ein-und Auschecken. Beautiful home in a great area

We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Lagoa house. If I were to say 1 negative comment, it would be that in the summer it's very hot and humid so air conditioning is a must. They did supply fans for every room which did help a little. Other than that the home was amazing. The pool came in very handy after long days of touring the island. The kids were loving it as well as all the adults. The owners were very attentive and easy to reach. They made sure the house was perfect for when we arrived. Just a small issue with the master suite window shade, but they made sure it was fixed immediately. Overall I would definitely recommend this house... Thank you Esteves Brothers for having us in your amazing home.

Beautiful Home!

A perfect home for our group of 9. A great fit for our family as the kids (and adults!) in the group loved the pool and the table tennis room. The owners were very attentive to our needs/requests at a moments notice. Great location on the island as well as Lagoa is great city to start your journey to all points of the island. This is a nice home, conveniently located for those who want to explore the entire island.

My family of seven spent the week exploring and enjoying Sao Miguel. This property has a great location as it is just off the the primary East/West road. It also sits on a primary North/South road. It has plentiful off street parking, which is a sacristy on this island. The home is spacious and well kept and the owners are very accommodating.

Lovely home not far from Ponta Delgada

Our group of six had a wonderful stay and would rent here again. The home worked out great for day excursions all over the island and provided a wonderful space to relax at night. The swimming pool and other amenities made our stay very enjoyable.
