The house is in a quiet residential area with other holiday lets, so away from the noise of the town centre enabling you to get a peaceful night's sleep.
The Jurassic coastline stretches from Devon to Dorset, and is England’s only natural World Heritage Site. There’s a world to discover here for all ages, with fossils from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, and it has many attractions nearby including Abbotsbury with the Swannery, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, and the crystal clear water for swimming at Ringstead Bay, and Golden Cap.
The SeaLife centre, Pirate Adventure Golf, The Front Skate Park, Lodmoor Country Park and the RSPB Lodmoor nature reserve are within walking and cycling distance heading east along the coast, although there is a large car park there if you prefer to drive.
In July and August, the floating pontoons in Weymouth bay provide a great fun resource for swimmers. A local triathlon club are regularly seen swimming the length of the bay. Nearby Ringstead Bay has free National Trust parking and is renowned for crystal clear waters for swimming.
