Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and thank you for the feedback. We are surprised that Heywood Cottage did not meet your expectations, we always receive very complimentary reviews of this property. In our listing for Heywood Cottage there is no mention of a coffee machine, if this is something a guest requires if we are aware prior to arrival we can make arrangements to get one. That being said, all our properties do come equipped with cafetiere's as a standard which has been adequate enough for all of our other previous guests. In regards to drying, there is a large pulley style airier in the dining area which provides plenty of space for drying clothes and towels. As for the garden furniture, there is furniture available for your use. There are benches that are always outside and further table and chairs stored inside the garden shed to protect from weathering. As we are located outside of town we are aware this can be an inconvenience at times so we are more than happy to meet guests with keys. That being said, we are only able to meet guests with keys during office hours, and as you had informed us you were arriving late in the evening, meeting with the keys on this occasion was not an option. We are sorry the seagulls were a nuisance but this is obviously something out of our control.

Unfortunately due to St Andrews being located on the Coast, Seagulls are a re-occurring issue, like many other towns in the East Neuk of Fife.
