A traditional cottage near Gunnerside in North Yorkshire that can sleep five people in two bedrooms.
Joe House is a traditional cottage near Gunnerside in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It has two bedrooms comprising of a family room with a king-size and a single bed as well as a super-king size room, there is also a family bathroom, the cottage can sleep five people. Also inside is a kitchen diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside is off road parking for three cars and a front lawn with a table and chairs. Joe House is a fantastic traditional cottage in a beautiful rural location.
Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WIFI. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 3 cars. Access to property is down a rough gravel track., which may not be suitable for low slung cars Front lawn with table and chairs. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Note: Pull out bed is for flexibility. Maximum occupancy is for five people. Note: The stone stairs leading to the bedrooms are larger than average stairs, and therefore, the property may not be suitable for those with less mobility.

Something of a sleepy backwater, it is surrounded by traditional farm meadows, pastures and fells, with the pretty Gunnerside Beck running through the village centre before joining the glorious River Swale on the village outskirts. Amongst the cluster of old stone houses there is Ghyllfoot Tea Room and the village pub serves good food at lunchtime and in the evening. The market towns of Richmond, Leyburn, Hawes and Barnard Castle are all within 15 miles making Gunnerside a scenic and central base from which to tour the Dales.
