About Samantha Naughton
We are private owners of the apartment which, up until recently, has been run as part of the Radisson Blu Resort in Les Arcs 1950. We live in the UK but spent 13 years abroad living in various countries. We are a family who love to ski and really enjoy our time in Les Arcs.
Samantha Naughton purchased this Apartment in 2005
Why Samantha Naughton chose Arc-1950
You don't get much more ski-in-ski-out than this. You literally put you boots on, collect your skis/board and from the door, ski straight down to the lift. When you come back, you can ski through the village straight to the door. Everything in the village is at your finger-tips. As soon as you arrive, you can arrange ski hire (if you haven't done it in advance), buy your lift pass and buy groceries at the supermarket. There are numerous restaurants and bars and more at 2000 which within easy access. There is a huge area to ski and you can take the whole day and do a ski safari over to La Plagne. Bourg St Maurice is the town at the bottom of the mountain. There is a bus service that will take you from 1950 down to the Funicular at 1800 - from here you can go into Bourg St Maurice if you are not a skier and fancy a change of scenery.
What makes this Apartment unique
Les Arcs 1950 is a charming car free village and being purpose built, everything you need is right on your doorstep. A great family place as you can easily go back to the apartment for lunch if you have children who may need a rest after a mornings lessons or skiing.
