Good functional apartment and quite roomy. Hosts were accommodating, location was awesome, lots of restaurants and pubs right on our doorstep. And for the price it was excellent. Budapest is a must see.

Quiet apartment in a good location

The apartment is functional, quiet and public transport stops are very close to the apartment. There are numerous shops, cafes and restaurants in the vicinity of the apartment, the Great Market Hall of Budapest is about 100 meters away on foot. The owner of the apartment is easy to reach and he responds to requests quickly. I warmly recommend renting the apartment.

perfect location

I had a really good stay at this property. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed to make some basic meals. The bed was very comfortable and I always slept really well. It has plenty of natural light with the bigger windows and creates a sunny atmosphere. It is located in a very nice area of town, close to many restaurants , shops and the big market , all within walking distance from the apartment. Public transport is also close by and Uber/taxis can be found on almost every road. I had great communications with both the owner and the property management. I can highly recommend this apartment who would want to visit Budapest.

Comfortable, has everything you need. Great location, close to Vaci utca, market hall, and docks for boarding river cruises. 1 minor con: bed wasn't super comfortable for us, but we are bigger people in our 60's. Probably fine for younger and/or smaller people

Great apartment

We loved our stay .This apartment is well equiped with cooking utensils etc.Bery close to major attractions like the market hall and Vinci steeet and was really easy and quick to walk over the bridge to other attractions .Bery close to teams and the underground . Bed was very comfortable although some new pillows and towels would be great . Loved the position and the space in the unit .

Great location

This was a good quality rental unit with lots of space. The towels, WiFi, and kitchen setup were all good quality. The hostess was quick to reply to any questions. We loved the location, close to food and very walkable. A good combination of quality modern furnishings and an old classic building. The unit had a drying rake, not a dryer. But our cloths that we washed were dried overnight. We highly recommend.

Central position for exploring Budapest

Loved our stay in this roomy apartment which was a easy 5min stroll to the Central Market. Budapest is a wonderful city full of history and on the flat Pest side, easy to walk around. The Buda side is slightly more challenging though a great public transport system still gets you to all the major attractions. The communication with our host was great, clear and concise instructions of location and how to access the apartment, was much appreciated. Would highly recommend Beside the Danube apartment to anyone visiting Budapest. Would also recommend doing a tour with Budapest Tuk Tuk. We did a tour the morning after we arrived and found it a wonderful way to orientate ourselves.

Great location, quirky apartment

Great communication with the owners before our arrival but some of the info was out of date or incomplete- i.e. the outer door code and WiFi details. Apartment was clean, toasty warm and had all you need. Netflix with own log in a bonus. Sofa bed not great to sleep on. Quite a bit of food left in cupboards- no idea how old- and some of the tourist info is ancient-2011! Bud great, loved the free public transport and some fab restaurants.

Hi - yes we changed the codes occasionally so sorry this had not been sent correctly, good that we could update this quickly to you. For the food basics, we check if guests have left anything so that nothing is old. Some guests perfer to have the basics in the kitchen, so we do leave these if they are new. We also try to keep our guest recommendations if they are of interest - as well as guide books for the museums etc - things that don't normally change much but we'll check through them with your recommendation! Very thin uncomfortable matrass on the bed

The apartment is in great location, close to metro station on line 4. Gellert spa is just across the river, market is 5 min walk. The only problem was a very thin, uncomfortable piece of aprox. 7sm thick foam matrass from Ikea on the bed. It is put directly on pine boards of the bed, there is no matrass box, there is no anything else except bed sheet on it. I felt extremely uncomfortable. I communicated with the owners but all that they offered to me is to buy some topper for the matrass from Ikea and I would have to pay 50% of the price of that topper, the other 50% would pay the owners of the place. Of course, I refused. The comforter and pillows are rather uncomfortable too. I complained about the "discomforter" as well but nothing was changed, the issues were not addressed. The owners did not want to invest any money to improve the quality of my sleep. I have to emphasize that it is very important for me to have a good night rest after a lot of walking. I know many middle age people who require at least a decent quality matrass to sleep comfortably. That thin piece of foam from Ikea is not really a matrass, so, lots of discomfort there, never slept well. I learned my lesson, next time I will inquire detailed info about the matrass if I decide to rent a place.

Les hôtes étaient réactifs, sympathiques et accomodansts. La personne en charge de l'appartement sur place également. Nous tenons à les remercier.Appartement très agréable, spacieux et bien équipé. Ich habe mit meiner Schwester 6 Tage in Budapest verbracht und wir hatten einen wirklich tolles Wochenende. Die Ferienwohnung war wirklich super. Preis Leistung absolut top. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Die Klimaanlage war echt Goldwert. Gerne wieder.

Awesome apartment

Everything about this apartment was great. Looks exactly like it does in the photos, very clean and quiet but in a great location near the river. Check in and check out was a breeze, and as noone was due to arrive immediately after us, we were allowed to leave our bags so we could have a last little explore before catching our return flight. I'd highly recommend!!

One of the best we have been

We spent approximately 6 weeks in this delightful apartment, thoroughly modern ( recently renovated kitchen and bathroom) and well equipped. We found the apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. The high ceilings make this apartment much bigger. Communication with owner and agent was effective and quick. The location is absolutely great, steps from the famous central market, the pedestrian street, restaurants, sights and public transportation. The air conditioning during the heat wave was great and extremely quiet. We visit Budapest very often and we plan to stay again in this apartment: it is the best we have been. .
