This very private, , 2900 square foot, two-story home is located on 150 feet of golden sand like- private beach (no public access nearby).The curving palm lined beach is the most beautiful beach I have seen. In my view---none better.

The house has many high quality features from granite counters, beamed great room, huge master bedroom, solid hickory cabinets, beautiful large mouldings, stainless steel appliances, gas range, plank and tile flooring, to even a wood burning fireplace for a cool night.

There are breathtaking ocean views from large windows in Every room. Rare is the day when you cannot spot turtles from the house and covered lanai which is 20 feet from this gorgeous beach. Here the song of the surf is yours. Watch the sun sink into the sea while relaxing with a drink.

  • The master bedroom is HUGE with cal-king & double sofa bed and has its own private lanai , second is decent size, 3rd is small. Direct beach and ocean view from each bedroom as well as every other room in the house. Double futon bed in living room.

We stayed at this house for 1 week in July 2007. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The views were fantastic and the house is very spacious. We were particularly impressed by the quality level of the kitchen equipment and furniture. We never felt like we were staying in a rental, felt more like staying in someone's home! One minor drawback is the beach access. We had no difficulties, however the stairs could be challenging for older adults.

Beautiful view but house needs a deep clean

Stayed: July of 2017.

Pros: The house is centrally located, pretty much on a private beach, has wonderful views, steps to the beach, 100 yards to the right is a wonderful private cove, & the beds/furniture are comfy. Came with snorkel gear, boogy boards, and sand toys. Lots of good portable fans for the heat.

Past Reviews: The third bedroom is not small at all. I really don’t know what that other review was talking about. The house does not seem to be “in a state of disrepair” either. It is clearly an older house. We mostly hung on the main deck looking out at sea turtles in the waves. Screws still stick out on deck – we just avoided them or put a chair over them. The deck had nice updated patio furniture. Fridge, lights, ice maker, faucets all worked fine. Beach in front of house is hard to swim, as the reef is super sharp. There is a breathtaking cove and place to swim about 100 yards to the right. Screens on most windows, blinds on windows facing the street only, bed covers were fine. Again – it’s an older house so yes the shower fixtures aren’t amazing but they worked fine. The traffic is super noisy but didn’t bother us too much - we closed all the street windows at night and the sound of the waves drowned it out. Yes - watch out for ants in kitchen. The spices/oils that were left were covered in them when we arrived.

Cons: Please, please - fire your house cleaner. The house may be older but it is in desperate need of a deep clean. You just feel gross walking barefoot around in it (black feet). We understand that there is salt and moisture in the air but we were able to visit two houses next door and let me tell you – it shows that those owners take pride in their house. While the salt air may corrode the sliding doors – a deep clean might help them. Reviews are still true in that the sliding screen doors are terrible. The tracks are disgusting and full of thick dust. The fan in the smallest bedroom was unusable due to chunks of thick dust falling off once turned on. Bed skirts and under the beds/furniture is caked with thick dust again, hair in sinks, termites in wood ship. Maid seems to do bare minimum.

Christmas decorations still left up – makes me think that the owners haven’t been there in awhile.

Would be nice if there was a welcome binder or something that told us where the wifi network and password was…it is written on the router behind the TV. There were no tissues or paper towels - not a requirement but just an FYI.

North Hale'iwa Dream

The location was perfect--excellent beach for relaxing, snorkeling, and swimming. This home is literally steps from the perfect beach! We enjoyed the surrounding towns and excellent food at local restaurants and food trucks as well as surf lessons just down the beach, but enjoyed the luxury of staying at our own place for coffee on the deck and sunset dinners and barbecues as well. It slept six adults comfortably and had great outdoor space.

Fantastic Beach Vacation

It is hard to beat a beach vacation with a house on the beach. We have stayed in many North Shore beach properties over the last 15 years and you never know what you are going to get. This house is spacious and clean and quite comfortable. There were absolutely no issues with getting access, checking in etc.. The owners where quite gracious and accommodated our last minute plans. I will definitely request to rent this property again. Thanks again!

Wonderful beachfront property for the whole family

We had a wonderful experience. This home has absolutely breathtaking views! We were really pleasantly surprised. Just a short walk to Waimea Bay and Hale'iwa, an absolutely adorable little beach town with lots of shops and great restaurants. We fell in love with the town. The home was stocked with comfortable linens, towels and beach mats/chairs. We left a few inexpensive boogie boards and a styrofoam ice chest for others to enjoy. Our children had a great time boogie boarding every morning. We enjoyed walks on the beach at night. We have so many great memories of our stay and hope to be able to stay again sometime. Jim, the owner, was great to work with and always responsive to my emails and calls. We just can't say enough about how awesome it was to be right on the beach!

Beautiful view and close to the beach, but that's it.

I write this review with the risk of being called a complainer, but in all honesty I'm not and I will try to be as honest as possible. The house is in a beautiful location, right on the beach, with amazing views of surf, whales, and surfers. Those are the pros, now the cons. The house is in a state of disrepair, this was noted to the owner on the first day and he did come and tried to fix some problems but did not accomplish all. Some of the problems were: late entry to the house (big mess from prople before hand, aceptable), grass not cut, main deck was dirty with mold, soft spots from rotting wood underneath, screws sticking up so that you could cut feet or toes. Inside house there were some issues as well, most importantly for the first two days the fridge did not work properly, we had stocked up with food for our ten days and had to keep food in freezer to keep it safe enough to eat later. The ice maker did not work entire trip. Many lights and fans did not work. Leaking faucets in kitchen, which made for constant clean up. All in all small things that lead to not so happy campers. I would noramlly not write any review if I was not really happy, but in an e-mail to owner and and another company that he has his house rented with, did not respond, instead we called complainers in our first attempts to fix problems when we arrived, which upset our group more than anything. I will say it has a beautiful view and close to the beach, but pick a different house.
