Enjoy your family reunion, small wedding, or gathering of friends on a property that you’ll never want to leave!
The Bar D-M Ranch is a secret gem nestled on 66 perfectly private and pristine acres, where the wide meadow is green, the sky goes on forever and the spectacular Rocky Mountains rise in every direction.
Bordered by The National Forest, the Rocky Mountain National Park, and the Colorado River, the Bar D-M is your ideal mountain playground.
Start your day with a morning greeting from the elk, moose, and geese. Swim, fish, kayak or paddleboard on Bar D-M’s own Never Summer Lake. Watch the little ones entertain themselves on the play set by the stream. Relax in the Colorado River. Have a roaring campfire in the outdoor fire pit. Hike the beautiful property and nearby forest trails. Test your off-roading mettle on miles of easily accessed public trails.
In the winter, zip down the Bar D-M’s amazing sledding hill. Snowshoe the property’s Colorado River Trail. Snowmobile right from the Bar D-M directly to miles of public trails. Or cuddle up with your favorite book and hot chocolate next to the roaring fire.
The Bar D-M provides comfortable accommodations, thanks to its two large houses. Sleep like a log under down comforters and handmade quilts as the fire flickers in the hearth of the cabin. The cabin’s full kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, bunk room, entertainment room and full laundry lay in an open floor plan under a beautiful vaulted, pine ceiling.
The converted barn provides ample space for a large group with an extra large kitchen complete with double appliances. There are 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The true jewel of the Barn is the indoor dance hall, outfitted with reclaimed barn wood, an antique sleigh and buggy, a piano, a piñata pulley, and a movie screen. The dance hall is ideal for corporate meetings, small weddings, movie nights, parties, and country hoedowns!
Should you feel the need to ever leave the property, shopping, dining, theater, bowling, and boating are only minutes away in the scenic town of Grand Lake. Access to Rocky Mountain National Park is even closer.
