This beautiful beach home has beach views across the entire back and sides of the home. It's comfortable, clean and charming. A short walk down the back steps lead to the best beach views on the island. Grab a beach chair, your best friend and a favorite book and dig your toes in the sand along the water's edge. And if you have a fishing pole, make sure to pay close attention because Alligator Point is known as one of the best fishing spots on the Gulf.

About Mike & Laura Glancy
We are native Floridians living in Atlanta for the past 25 years and desperate for more beach time back home. We have three children.
Mike & Laura Glancy purchased this House in 2016
Why Mike & Laura Glancy chose Alligator Point
The Tin Cup Palace is our 25th Anniversary gift to each other. We love the sugar white sand beach and natural beauty surrounding Alligator Point. This home has beautiful views from all living spaces with windows across the back to look out over the gulf. When we first stayed on Alligator Point we were greeted every morning by dolphins playing along the shore as pelicans and seagulls hovered above. We saw manatees and turtles swim to the shore as we sat in our beach chairs overlooking the water.
What makes this House unique
Peaceful and quiet. This is the forgotten coast. It's charming and reminiscent of Old Florida before the strip malls and crowds cluttered the highways and beaches.

5 star We loved it
The Tin Cup is a won
derful place to stay and relax. We absolutely loved tithe area, especially because it's not too touristy. The house is great and well taken care of. I can see why so many people in
back and stay here.
5 star rating!
We rated a 5 star review and for whatever reason it keeps showing a 4 star.
Great vacation home
We had a wonderful time at a wonderful place.
Everything you need is right there - except the tourists.
Thanks to Mike an Laura for an easy rental experience.
We'll come back!
The beach home was beautiful and location was perfect!
My family and I had a wonderful time at the Tin Cup Palace. I was a little worried about my grand daughter and niece getting board because their was not a pool. I should not have worried! We all kept busy at the beach and the shell hunting was fantastic! We loved walking out on the sand bar at low tide. We also enjoyed the local restaurants and cooking out at our beach home. This was the best vacation I have had in a long time. I felt so welcomed at the Tin Cup Palace. I was even able to play in the ocean without worry of getting knocked down by strong waves. This beach is perfect for the older person who may not be as steady on their feet. It is my dream beach house and I never wanted to leave! If I got to choose our vacation location each year, I would never go anywhere else! Thank you so much for a very special and relaxing vacation!
Beautiful and Relaxing
Mike and Laura were great - the house was awesome and perfectly comfortable for our family of six along with the grandparents. We had a fantastic time fishing, exploring, and swimming. I would highly recommend!
Clean and beautiful
This is a great beach house in a great spot. It was our 3rd time we stayed there and the owners make upgrades every year and see that it is extremely clean.
The Tin Cup Palace (Jimmy Buffet song) is a charming 3 bed beach house that is relaxing & functional
TheTCP sits on a beautiful stretch of white sand beach overlooking the gulf. If you’re looking for large crowds and all the loud, touristy attractions then this ain’t your place. TCP is relaxing, pet friendly, and away from all the stresses of everyday life. Everyday we were able to let our two dogs run and chase crabs without leashes. There was always a stretch of beach that was deserted for hundreds of yards.
The house is perfect for two couples or a family of eight. The third bedroom has two bunk beds that we four used for “movie night” with its large screen tv. Some nights we even stayed awake for the show. The kitchen is well stocked, the couches are so comfy, and the front deck is the greatest spot for reading, watching the gulf, or just hanging out. Everything is designed to make the beach life simple and stress free, from the under house bathroom to the outdoor shower.
The night sky is brilliant with stars (no light pollution) and when the weather turns south there are games and puzzles to entertain while you enjoy a good storm.
Don’t fret tho, because a short drive will take you to Angelo and Sons restaurant where you can experience some amazing seafood and some wild signature drinks, or on weekends there is the tiki hut down by the marina for fun with the locals.
The owners Mike and Laura make everything so easy and were most gracious.
Bring your swimsuit and flip flops, and maybe a hat, and leave your troubles behind. Step back into old Florida at this wonderful bit of paradise. Check out the Tin Cup Palace. You won’t be disappointed.
“With a tin cup for a chalice fill it up with good red wine, and I’m chewing on a honeysuckle vine”
I just got home but “ I wanna go back to the island”

A short walk, bike, drive to Bald Point State Park. Make sure to relax at the Alligator Point Marina Tiki Bar during your stay. It's open Thursday - Saturday - March through September. The drinks are cold and the food is delicious!
Alligator Point is a nature lover's paradise.
