We had an amazing time staying at Dan's place in the Marigny. The house was exactly as described and pictured with a nice, private backyard, and Dan was really responsive and flexible. The neighborhood was exactly what we were looking for for a couple of months in New Orleans: close enough to walk to Frenchmen Street and the French Quarter but off the beaten path and in a quieter area with local bars, restaurants and coffee shops in a diverse community. We also loved that the area, and New Orleans in general, is really dog friendly. Everything was awesome, and we highly recommend this home for anyone who wants to experience a different side of the Crescent City.

Very nice option. Clean, well-appointed, newer than your typical New Orleans rental. Close to many restaurants and things to do. Only docked a little bit due to some confusion among the family that owns it and their booking process, which resulted in us not getting our door code on time. However, the main person in charge felt bad and responded quickly once he was aware of the situation. I would suggest reaching out to the owner before your trip to make sure you have their cell number in case of any issues.

A beyond great location - close but enough of a distance from Bourbon!! Lovely accommodations! Decorated with style …. Christmas tree was up! No need for a car- you can walk anywhere & everywhere! The host, Michelle, is dialed in with great communication. I would definitely stay again! A perfect time!!!

We could not have picked a more perfect place to stay. If we make it back to New Orleans we would stay here every time. A very spacious vrbo with everything you need-including a very sweet, knowledgeable host. He even went out of his way to drive us to the French Quarters the first night we were there, saving us fare for an Uber or cab! He gave us personal advice for must-do’s including the ham and cheese croissant at Leo’s Bakery-recommended strongly! Very safe location, decent prices instead of price gouging! Thank you Herb! Everything about this rental was outstanding from the initial contact to our departure. Communication with the owner was excellent throughout our encounter. The owner contacted us during our stay to ensure we had no issues or questions. Before our arrival, we were given a brief history of our neighborhood, nearby points of interest, and a comprehensive list of suggested restaurants. Upon our departure, we were given a historical picture book of New Orleans to remember our stay in this beautiful city. Our visit from beginning to end was fantastic. We highly recommend this property.

Lovely, convenient apartment. Away from the fray of the FQ but easily accessible. The new grocery, Roberts, is a fantastic addition not to mention the new Starbucks.
