                                                          maureen b.

This was our second visit to Trinity and we had a lovely relaxing week, dispite a hiccup with the water supply thanks to storm Ophelia!

The water problem was solved very quickly with little disruption to our holiday.

I would certainly recommend a stay here, and hopefully we will visit again within the next year.

                                                          Owner's Response:

Thanks Maureen for your great review and continued custom. We look forward to you returning again soon.

Regarding the water supply, we are supplied from an excellent Group Water Scheme and our understanding is that the generator / pumps suffered damage during Storm Ophelia. Thankfully, the Scheme were able to rectify the problems quickly for ourselves and the wider community and our plumber was able to return supply to the holiday home by removing an airlock that had developed when the water supply was disconnected. Thankfully, such matters are rare and we were happy to hear that it did not impact too much on your holiday enjoyment during your stay with us.

                                                          See you soon........

                                                          Rebecca

We stayed at the house for 9 days whilst visiting relatives in the area. The house is beautifully located above Trinity lake looking out to surrounding hills yet is only a 15 minute drive to Cavan town. We had a really enjoyable stay there and would definitely stay there again.

Lovely home in a beautiful setting

                                                          Sue W.

Our hosts were gracious and helpful, the town of Cavan was welcoming a delightful. It was a wonderful stay.

                                                          Relaxing family easter break

                                                          Helen H.England

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Denis and Trish were extremely accommodating, allowing us to check in earlier and check out later than normal due to our travelling times. This made our journeys so much easier. They were easy to contact and answered all our questions.

The cottage itself is in a fabulous position overlooking the lake. There is nothing better than sitting in the lounge beside the log burner looking out onto the lake. It is very quiet, calm and peaceful and lovely for a break away from the hustle and bustle of life!

The cottage is extremely spacious and very comfortable, especially the master bed! It has all you need for a self catering stay, and is well furnished throughout, yet homely.

T-Bone the dog visited and was welcomed by our daughter each day. The slide and swing set also kept her entertained.

We had some lovely days out to Dublin, the Titanis exhibition at Belfast, Enniskillen, Blackrock- seaside and also to the Cavan local museum and killykeen forest park. The only thing we found was that everything was very spread out and you had to drive long distances- but that was due to our lack of knowledge of the area and Ireland itself.

Our stay has given us a lovely impression of Ireland and we will definitely return.

Thank you Denis and Trish, your cottage is lovely.
