Lovely Home from Home

Absolutely fabulous time had by whole family, will recommend. Plenty of room for all of us. A few things I would like to point out but did not spoil our holiday:- The key box is located above the bins on the right-hand side, the one detailed in welcome letter doesn't give you keys! The key rack in the kitchen does not contain the keys to unlock windows, definitely needed them as 25C! There is no log burner so don't bother buying logs as suggested in welcome letter! Bedside light in annex bedroom faulty so we unplugged. There is no oven cloth - definitely needed this! Otherwise, fab location and property. So safe with children as garden area enclosed and safe. Thank you.

Whitehaven stay June 2018

We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness of Whitehaven especially the kitchen and floor in particular... Some of the crockery looked liked it needing replacing as it was very scratched, the glass sugar decanter had a chunk out of the bottom corner, the mop in the kitchen cupboard smelt terrible and needed replacing. The bathrooms were passable but could do with a deep clean, the bed linen was clean and fresh, for the money paid we would expect towels to be provided.. We found the freezer in the garage but after having a Tesco delivery found it hard to find enough space to put our shopping.. Either the owners had left food in the freezer or other guests.. We did however enjoy the courtyard in the sunshine and the lovely furniture provided. The parking and position of the property were ideal for our stay.

Thank you for your email and for taking the time to complete the UpFrontReview following your recent stay at Whitehaven. Your feedback is invaluable whether constructive or positive as without this we merely being the booking agents, are often unaware of issues that may arise hence customer feedback being something we look at very closely. We have forwarded your email to the owner in order that the issues you have high-lighted can be addressed as necessary. Once again many thanks for taking the time to write to us and we look forward to welcoming you back to North Norfolk sometime in the future.

Beautiful house but needs a good clean!

House is beautiful but rather than renting a cottage, we felt we were in someone's house as there is clutter everywhere; photos and nick-nacks on every available bit of surface. Even in the kitchen, I put items away in cupboards because there was so much clutter left on the worktops. The lounge space is excellent however the sofa has completely had it. The cushions were so worn and used that we had to put separate cushions under the sofa cushions to try and give it some lift. Again lots of clutter everywhere and very, very dusty; especially when I pulled the curtains open and lifted the blinds. The master bedroom was a great size however don't open the shutters! I did this to open a window and it was absolutely filthy! Thick dirt and cobwebs so I would recommend sacking the cleaner. This could be a beautiful house however it is tired. As you walk in, the umbrella pot was broken, with the broken piece left on it and when I tried to move the candle jar on the garden table (to give it a good clean!!) , it was broken and someone had precariously put it back together. Not ideal with young children. On the whole, this house could be absolutely stunning but it needs a very good clean, new sofa and most of the clutter removed.

Wonderful Easter Break

Whitehaven was spotlessly clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable. We instantly felt right at home. There was an issue with the DVD player and the owners could not do enough to help. We were right next to Brancaster Beach and very well situated for lots of nearby attractions; Hunstanton, Wells and Holkham Hall. Wonderful pubs serving great food within 5 minutes of the house. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful area of Norfolk.
