Why Annie Cohen-Solal chose Camucia
We fell in love with Cortona in 1980, visited the city for 7 years each summer and finally discovered this amazing villa hat had not been occupied for 40 years. We restored it patiently each after year.
What makes this Villa unique
It is very private in a tiny hamlet (Salcotto Basso), yet close to Camucia for shopping (walking distance) and to stunning Cortona (stunning views from the pool and 7 minutes drive). We love visiting or trekking around Arezzo, Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena, Assisi, Perugia, over & over again and we go sailing or kayaking on Lake Trasimeno (20 minutes drive)
