DREAM FOREST AU CŒUR DE LA NATURE

Sommes restés 4 semaines à la lisière de la forêt séjour reposant à l opposé de l agitation des lieux touristiques Le concept original de séparation de la varangue des chambres ne nous a pas gêné Le matériel mis à disposition est neuf et la propriété très bien entretenue Les rapports avec OLIVIER le propriétaire sont très courtois Bref un excellent sejour

Nice place to relax

We had a wonderful time at the house and on the Island. Especially Basse Terre is a Paradise. The house, Garden and Pool were clean and the owners are very nice people. Why do we only give four Stars out of five? There are a few things you should know before booking: 1. We went there as a Couple. When we arrived, the owners locked a part of the guest house (one bathroom and one bedroom). We had to ask them to unlock these rooms for us again, what they did. We booked two bedrooms and two bathrooms (clearly in the description of the house currently) and in our opinion that is what we should get, even if we arrive as a couple. It is uncomfortable if you have to ask for something, that was advertised and paid for. 2. The owners live in the house on the left which you see on the pictures, although they are very discrete, they are there on the property. You just should know that if it bothers you. 3. The entrance Gate follows a very steep path. So steep, we had to park our car outside, not to damage the cars front. 4. The Wifi has a very small range (not even into the garden and is really slow). We couldnt stream radio without interruptions. To make this clear: we still enjoyed our stay very much.

Amélioration à faire

Belle propriété MAIS il manque multiples infos à savoir avant de faire cette location. Le parking est très difficile car pente abrupt à 45 degrés. Avons brisé notre devant de voiture Donc accessible en 4x4. Chemin tres boueux. Le site est non sécurisé contrairement à d autres propriétés.Manque de grille-pain et de séchoir à cheveux. Plusieurs lumières étaient brûlées 2 dans cuisine et 1 salle de bain. Prise de courant dans chambre et salle de bain non fonctionnelle. Coffre de sécurité non fonctionnel. Personne à notre départ pour faire le Check out donc finaliser la caution à notre retour chez nous un peu stressant de verser une caution et qu elle reste en attente. Internet était très très peu fonctionnel. Le proprio était à l extérieur du pays mais quand même rejoignable dans un délai raisonnable.De plus, nous sommes restés avec nos sacs à déchets toute la semaine car aucuns directives pour le ramassage de celle- ci.À réfléchir avant de faire une telle location.

La propriété se trouvant en bordure du parc national et le climat étant de type tropical , les 50 derniers mètres de chemin forestier y accédant peuvent être occasionnellement boueux mais toujours accessibles pour tout modèle de voiture (toute la route est goudronnée jusqu'au petit chemin final). La rampe d’accès qui mène au parking devant la maison est certe pentue mais de petites voitures telles que des Picanto y accèdent. Il y a une place de parking à l'extérieur de la propriété si besoin. Le grille-pain ne faisait pas partie des équipements ? C’est chose faite ! Suite à la demande d’un aimable voyageur, nous l’avons le jour-même ajouté à la longue liste du matériel mis à disposition. Tout ce qui est cité dans l'annonce est présent. Le coffre fonctionne fort bien, la note d'utilisation présente juste au-dessus indique qu'il faut appuyer 10 secondes pour enregistrer le code, tout simplement. Les déchets sont collectés deux fois par semaine, le mardi et le vendredi, un container est à disposition. Des surtensions avaient entraîné un problème électrique général exceptionnel, qui avait endommagé notre installation. Tout a été réparé depuis, tout est fonctionnel.

Forest dream

We had a great stay here in Guadeloupe! The house is amazing. Great pool for swimming and awesome outdoor area to cook and have dinner. The hosts were around if needed and made our stay very smooth. Would 1000% come back.
