Great little place for a weekend in Decorah. The home is so spacious and conveniently located near everything downtown to be able to walk. The hosts were very responsive and answered all of our questions. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this rental.

Luther Homecoming Weekend Stay

We loved staying here! I rented the home with 4 friends who had gathered for our 30th college reunion. Check-in and check-out was amazingly easy and the location is prime…short walking distance to all the cute downtown shops and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again on a future trip!

Girls week

We all loved it and can’t wait to plan another trip to the area. The property was exceptionally clean and adorable, close to downtown so we did a lot of walking, shopping and eating. The place felt like home and owners were great, exceeded all expectations!

Family Weekend

Couldn't have asked for a better first-time stay in Decorah, especially for three families with small kids. Great central location and the room layouts along with the thoughtful touches from the hosts made it feel like home. Highly recommended!

Dolly’s was the perfect place for my family together, all from different areas. The house is beautiful, with the front porch to drink coffee on and the back patio with a lot of room for people to hang out on. Location is perfect for every place. You would want to go in Decorah. Great fall weekend in Decorah

Dolly's place had everything we wanted for a family weekend in Decorah. Walking distance of downtown, plenty of space, all the amenities, etc. Our day usually started and finished on the wonderful front porch talking with friends and family. Bruce was great and would definitely stay there again.

Wedding weekend

Dolly,s Place was fantastic. Exceptionally clean. Kitchen was large well stocked and perhaps the nicest I've ever seen in a rental. Private and quiet. Two blocks from downtown. Two blocks from a grocery store. Many extras provided. We were in town for a wedding and could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend Dolly's to anyone.

Dolly's Place was perfect for a family weekend in Decorah (6 adults and 3 kids ages 2-4)! The house was very clean and well stocked. Plenty of parking on site. Just a few blocks from Water street (shopping and restaurants). Easy access to local breweries and entertainment. Bruce and Kaleen were very gracious and helpful hosts (local recommendations and very prompt responses). We will definitely stay here again and recommend Dolly's place without hesitation!

Great Stay

Dolly's place was a great home to host family for our daughter's graduation from Luther College. We had the grandma's with us, so the first floor bedroom and bathroom worked really well for one that has trouble with steps. House was beautiful and had everything we needed. We were able to walk downtown for coffee Saturday morning and a little shopping. We have fallen in love with Decorah over the last few years. We will definitely return to Decorah and Dolly's Place in the future!

Perfect Wedding Weekend!!!

Dolly's Place was absolutely perfect for our family as we celebrated the wedding of our daughter Alex to Oket, her Luther College love. We were able to get ready for the big event and then relax afterwards in the comfort of Dolly's Place. The house is so cute and so comfortable!! You feel like you are at Grandma' s house all over again! We were able host a post wedding day brunch and the dining room, living room and porch were alive with love and laughter as I am sure Dolly would have loved!! Children with you, a top-notch playground at the end of the block. Very safe and quiet location.
