Alternatively, in order to have the chance to see the nearby neighborhoods of Athens and the archaeological sites, you can choose a 5` minute walk to National Museum of Contemporary Art and from there a 10` minute walk to Acropolis Museum.

The neighborhood is lively and very safe (one of the safest around Acropolis) with restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby.
