NOTE: We are located in a neighborhood with full time residents. No parties, events or any other activities that would create a nuisance are allowed. No smoking allowed in home or anywhere on premises. Please do not book if you are unable to follow/respect these rules.

WELCOME: Newer 5 level Wildernest home, centrally located between four ski resorts!

This comfortable, spacious home has five levels of living space, giving guests more space to spread out. Relax in the large entertainment area, with the large flat screen and Xfinity cable, on the comfy sofas after enjoying the steam shower with rain head. Have a glass of wine out on the deck with a view of Dillon Lake and the town of Silverthorne. Enjoy the private hot tub on the deck overlooking the town of Dillon, and see the lights of the Keystone ski runs at night. To ensure proper chemical balance, hot tub maintenance will be provided for longer stays, with access required through the home.

The bunk bed room is great for the kids, and they even have their own entertainment area on the lower level. The dining table seats 12 adults, so it is great for those large gatherings.

Up to 2 non-shedding, fully potty-trained dogs allowed with pet fee and commitment to pick up any "presents" left outdoors. = )

Our baby amenities are great for those out of town guests who don't want to lug everything with them. We have a pack-and-play, high chair and stroller.

On site parking is available in our 2 car heated garage and private driveway. Maximum of 4 vehicles allowed, noting all vehicles must be parked on paved surfaces. We highly recommend the use of 4WD vehicles during the winter months when snow and road conditions are unpredictable.

Our home is two miles from the town of Silverthorne, up Buffalo Mountain, in the Wildernest Subdivision. There are hiking trails accessed across the street, and beautiful views from almost every room. Sledding, and the Silverthorne Recreation Center are nearby. The bus stop is one block away, and it will take you to all of the ski resorts. Keystone is approximately eight miles away, and Breckenridge and Copper Mountain are each approximately 15 miles away.

We provide a personalized Activity Guide after your reservation is confirmed, which includes nearby recommendations for things to do (i.e. hiking, boating, skiing, etc.) as well as our favorite spots for dining and shopping. Everything is based on our own personal experiences.

Our goal is to ensure you have an exceptional experience overall, so we are happy to be available for any questions or recommendations along the way.

Grande Summit Lodge

We had a great stay in the Grande Summit Lodge! It had plenty of space for 12 people but also loads of hangout space. The big kitchen and hot tub were nice touches! Would highly recommend!

This property very comfortably housed 2 families with 3 generations each. Our non skiers enjoyed relaxing at the house during the day, and making meals and feeding our group in the evening was easy in the spacious kitchen and eating area.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay, Chris. And I apologize again for the hot tub not working the one night due to the gasket issue on the pump, which we could not have anticipated. As you know, we were informed of this at 4:30p on a Friday evening, and I was able to coordinate a fix the next morning, so the hot tub was again operational and available that evening. And I offered to pay for your group to enjoy the hot tub and other amenities at the nearby Silverthorne Rec Center.

We celebrated a milestone birthday with a week in beautiful Silverthorne and this property was the hub of it all. Hi! Our names are Mike and Chris Specht. We have two young adult children, both recently graduated from college and living nearby. After living and raising our family in Kansas City for 20 years, we made the move to the mountains ourselves in 2018, residing just north of Denver. We're both Midwesterners, from Chicago and Cedar Falls, Iowa, respectively . . . and we love the outdoors and travel. We were very excited to purchase Grande Summit Lodge after owning a vacation property in the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, for 12 years and hope you will enjoy the home and surroundings as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

Located in the Wildernest neighborhood of Silverthorne, the home is convenient to all that Summit County has to offer. We love this home for the wide open main living and kitchen areas and views of the nearby mountains and Lake Dillon. With 5 bedrooms and the separate living area in the lower level, the home provides a great opportunity for large family gatherings and memories.
