RIVER CLYDE VIEWS er ​​en øverste etage loft lejlighed beliggende i centrum af Port Glasgow.
Selve lejligheden blev bygget i 1908 og hedder SANDRINGHAM (se billede)

En meget moderne, fuldt udstyret og rummelig boutique stil 60m2 privat lejlighed med smuk udsigt over og over floden Clyde.

Lejligheden ligger kun en kort 10-15 minutters kørsel fra Glasgow International Airport.

Byen Glasgow er kun 20-25 minutter i bil, eller du kan tage et tog til byens centrum på ca. 30 minutter, hvis du foretrækker det.

Très bien .....sauf...

Sauf un bruit pas agréable du tout 24/24 qui vient apparemment du Grenier, c’était plus gênant pour moi que pour mon mari, mais quand même pas génial !!

Previous reviews of this property are very accurate. The lack of a working shower is a setback for this rental. Other properties have the same shower mechanism, but this one does not work to combine cold and hot water properly and should be replaced. The kitchen also did not have any decent pans to make breakfast. They are all scratched. No one will pack a cast iron pan. So, a small investment in the place will go a long way here. Cleanliness was good but could be improved overall. Not bad, just not great. A detailed cleaning is in order. The furnishings and decor are excellent and are are represented well on VRBO. The building where this is located needs some attention as well but you'll get the benefit of lower pricing.

Nice, spacious apartment

The apartment was very nice , with lovely decor and furnishings. However the description is slightly misleading in that it implies that there is a spa and swimming pool as part of the building. This is not the case and the pool etc. is actually the public swimming baths nearby. The public areas of the property are quite run down, which was a slight disappointment.Please note if you are staying here that there are six flights of stairs up to the flat. We found it a good base for visiting other places, with the train station being easily accessible. The trains are very efficient and regular.

Eine sehr angenehme und komfortable Wohnung

Schön eingerichtete und großzügige Wohnung mit schönem Ausblick auf den Fluss. Es gibt nur ein Problem mit dem Boiler beim Duschen, besonders abends war der Wasserdruck zu niedrig und der Boiler sprang erst, wenn sehr hoch eingestellt, also sehr heiß, beim Runterregeln der Temperatur ging er wieder aus und das Wasser war kalt. Ansonsten bequem, schön eingerichtet, mit kompletter Küche mit Mikrowelle und Waschmaschine. Die Wohnung ist auch komplett separat ganz oben in einem Wohnblock. Deshalb nur für Leute ohne Mobilitätseinschränkung zu empfehlen, da kein Aufzug. Das Schwimmbad ist nicht im Haus, sondern ein öffentliches Schwimmbad gleich auf der anderen Straßenseite - für das, was geboten wird, zu teuer. Besser ins Schwimmbad nach Paisley zu fahren (ca. 15-20 min mit dem Zug - Zugstation 3 min. zu Fuß).

Very comfortable and modern, brand new apartment..

What a Great find this apartment was, absolutely magnificent and modern, a brand new home from home. I needed a place to stay because I had a job interview in Glasgow, so I choose this property... I’m so glad that I did, I couldn’t have wished for a better place to spend some time... Very comfortable and spacious, and the interior is so modern & chic. The apartment is simply PERFECT, you can’t fault it in any way. Great location, close by to everything and anything. With the most beautiful views of the river. I loved the fact there is a Costa Coffee just around the corner, ( I’m a bit of a coffeeholic ) and the 24 HR Tesco supermarket was also VERY convenient... The swimming pool and sauna are very nice too, and just added to how enjoyable my stay was. I would definitely stay here again in the future, without a doubt... The owner is so helpful and friendly too, And didn’t mind waiting for me even though I was nearly two hours late. ( Sorry...) Regards Sophia.

Great location for this very spacious rental!

If you are looking for a more local type of rental in the greater Glasgow area, then I definitely recommend this flat in Port Glasgow. It is a very spacious 1-bedroom with amazing views and definitely not in a tourist area. With only being a few minutes walk from both the train station and multiple grocery stores (plus a free car park across the street), you have optimal convenience and easy access to most everything. The only thing I might point out (not negative though) is that the rental is top/3rd floor, so you will get some exercise walking up/down, but I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip!

lovely apartment

booked this lovely flat for 1 week with my husband for a friends wedding. a lot cheaper than a hotel espeshially having a kitchen to do my own cooking. king size bed was so comfortable and fast wifi so we could still work from the flat. all brand new stuff in flat. comfortable lounge to chill out in at night, very homely. while here we took advantage of the swimming pool and sauna. would recommend.

PERFECT SPACIOUS & VERY COMFORTABLE,COSY APARTMENT

Perfect spacious & very comfortable, cosy apartment. We spent 2 weeks living in this beautiful apartment and it really felt like a home from home. We loved having a proper living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom... So much better and much more spacious than a standard hotel room. We’ve found our new way to travel, no more cramped hotel rooms for us. The views from the property are breathtaking, straight onto the river with a few big boats passing by throughout the day. Very well located for getting out and about, and for exploring the local areas. ( We recommend Loch Lomond for a nice day trip ) As we hired a car the free parking directly in front of the property was very convenient indeed. We only used the swimming pool and sauna once but it was a nice relaxing morning followed by a lovely lunch in the Waterwheel restaurant around the corner. We definitely would stay here again if we have the opportunity. 100% recommend John & Mary X

GOOD APARTMENT, GOOD VIEWS, GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY..

Fantastic Apartment , Great Views, Perfect Location... We just spent 10 days in this fabulous town center apartment, and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great views of the river and hills, very spacious, comfortable and homely place to enjoy a break in Scotland. Due to being in the town center you have absolutely anything and everything right on the door step. The 24 hour free parking and the option to use the swimming pool and leisure facilities really is a big bonus too. We would definitely book this beautiful, great value for money apartment again, highly recommend. 10/10...

GREAT APARTMENT, GREAT VIEWS, GREAT LOCATION...!!!

My Husband and I spent 5 nights in ths very comfortable, spacious and homely apartment. ( We both loved it and will be back again at Christmas... ) The apartment is FULLY equipped with everything you could ask for, making our stay so much better and enjoyable than staying in a small cramped hotel room... It made a perfect base for us to explore the local sights, and the property is a very easy 10 min drive from Glasgow Internation Airport. We left the car at home one day and took the train instead to the city of Glasgow, this was a really easy journey as Port Glasgow train station is situated less than 2 min walk from the apartment itself. The Icing on the cake for us, was the Indoor heated Swimming pool, Sauna and Steam room. It was a perfect end to the day after walking around the city shopping all day long. The town center has absolutely EVERYTHING that you could possibly need from bars, restuarants, cafes, shops, supermarkets and a very nice retail shopping plaza just around the corner too. The owner is so friendly and helpful too, he really goes that extra mile to make sure your stay is just perfect 10/10. Thank you for a lovely break in Scotland ( See you again at Christmas )
