Santa Chiara is an ancient complex, a former convent of 600, carefully restored and consists of a large building that houses three apartments as well as the home of the owner. It is located on the top of a hill just outside Siena (only 15 minutes walk from Piazza del Campo where the famous Palio is run twice a year!). It is accessed through a gate and a tree-lined avenue that flows into a large garden with ample parking facilities and beautiful views of both the city and the hills typical of the Tuscan landscape. It is surrounded by 5 hectares of well-kept countryside, with a large olive grove that produces an excellent extra virgin olive oil. The estate can be turned on foot making a pleasant walk going to rest under a centenary oak tree.
