Very good accommodation, very good location, very good value

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The location, right next to the Castlemartyr Resort, was excellent as we were attending a family wedding there. And, the cost was very reasonable. The kitchen is a bit small and dark as a communal area but with the layout of the old building it is hard to see how that could be improved. The courtyard could do with being power hosed and weeded

Great location & a lovely building. Anna was very efficient & helpful The house is in such a great location & has such potential, a little bit of modernisation & freshening up would make it an excellent property. Small things like improving the appearance outside, pulling weeds on living room window sill, cleaning upstairs windows etc would make a difference.

Large family gathering

We just enjoyed an incredible stay at Mews #6, while a large group of relatives rented four of the newer lodges on the Castlemartyr property. For ten nights we enjoyed cozy digs while being in very close proximity to the rest of the family. Although in need of a few repairs, the cottage suited us well, providing comfort and charm. Perfect mix

Lovely accommodation spotlessly clean overlooking the estate. Andy was a prompt and most helpful host. The bonus for us was the location right at the heart of the old castle beside 5 star bar and restaurants with the added benefit of our own space for the children. One small item would be good to have access to the pool at a fee

A magical family holiday

Anna the accommodation manager went over and beyond to make sure our stay was everything and more we could have hoped for. She arrived after our check in with a beautiful welcome basket, and was available on the phone if we had any questions during our stay. We loved the location and spent many evenings walking through the estate and the beautifully manicured gardens. There was fantastic entertainment provided every morning on the grounds for the younger children which was a real treat. Only one tiny thing, if the showers had a little more power in them, I love a morning shower but just felt the water pressure was very low.

Internet problems

Windows were dirty and there were cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. The internet did not work in the two bedrooms on the bottom floor. It was hard to lock and unlock the front door. Other than that it was okay.
