Property was clean, upper shower floods so we all had to use the main shower; the stove was not working so we could not eat in; the resort is lovely and we enjoyed the stay anyway....

Family Wedding

Location for Castlemartyr Wedding brill Cleanliness Facilities Space for 6 adults Peace Towels Comfort Friendly manager So easy to move in/move out Such a great house in castle walls We loved it Shower downstairs... Difficult to regulate temperature.... Maybe tidy courtyard as it's so beautiful there it's worth tidying I think

Family weekend stay

The unit was roomier than I expected. The kitchen was well stocked including dishwasher, washer, microwave, coffee maker and cooking/eating utensils. The property manager provided all of the info we needed and checked in with us after we arrived. Being immediately adjacent to the lodge was perfect and it was a quick walk into town. We were very pleased with the accommodations and will stay here again if we return to the area. No suggestions.

The Mews for 5 adults.

Highly recommend The Mews for groups! Our group of 5 adults had a brilliant experience here. The size of the property was perfect for us, offering plenty of space so we never felt cramped. Being so convenient to the hotel was a massive plus for our trip. What really stood out, though, was the excellent communication from the hosts—they were incredibly thorough and made the whole process seamless. Thanks for a great stay! On the downside, the exterior of the property is looking a bit tired and is in need of a lick of paint. We also felt that a relaxation area on the ground floor was missing. But I should have done my research better myself. Overall though would absolutely recommend.

Very good accommodation, very good location, very good value

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The location, right next to the Castlemartyr Resort, was excellent as we were attending a family wedding there. And, the cost was very reasonable. The kitchen is a bit small and dark as a communal area but with the layout of the old building it is hard to see how that could be improved. The courtyard could do with being power hosed and weeded

Large family gathering

We just enjoyed an incredible stay at Mews #6, while a large group of relatives rented four of the newer lodges on the Castlemartyr property. For ten nights we enjoyed cozy digs while being in very close proximity to the rest of the family. Although in need of a few repairs, the cottage suited us well, providing comfort and charm. We highly recommend!!! stunning, and

6 Castlemartyr Mews

Great location & a lovely building. Anna was very efficient & helpful The house is in such a great location & has such potential, a little bit of modernisation & freshening up would make it an excellent property. Small things like improving the appearance outside, pulling weeds on living room window sill, cleaning upstairs windows etc would make a difference.

A magical family holiday

Anna the accommodation manager went over and beyond to make sure our stay was everything and more we could have hoped for. She arrived after our check in with a beautiful welcome basket, and was available on the phone if we had any questions during our stay. We loved the location and spent many evenings walking through the estate and the beautifully manicured gardens. There was fantastic entertainment provided every morning on the grounds for the younger children which was a real treat. Only one tiny thing, if the showers had a little more power in them, I love a morning shower but just felt the water pressure was very low.

House very comfortable, surrounding area very beautiful Smell from drains should be looked at and instructions how to use the showers would be good - takes a long while for hot water to come through once you work out which way to turn taps otherwise all good

Internet problems

Windows were dirty and there were cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. The internet did not work in the two bedrooms on the bottom floor. It was hard to lock and unlock the front door. Other than that it was okay.

We had a great stay at CastleMartyr. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and from the listing I didn't realize how nice and accessible they would be. It was a pleasant surprise that our family really enjoyed! The village is really cute and very accessible to beaches and other attractions.The apartment was very spacious, had plenty of bedding/linens and a decent kitchen. The listing said it had a dryer but it doesn't, just a nice drying rack. The water temperature in the showers were a little tricky to manage... it was either very hot or cold and that was hard, especially for our younger kids. If you're traveling in the summer (and during a heat wave like us), be aware that there is no A/C or fans provided. Overall, I highly recommend this for a family traveling... it's not super fancy but it's great, spacious accommodations with beautiful grounds to enjoy! And having an arched door in a castle wall was super cool for our kids!

Excellent Base for Cork Holiday

We had a wonderful family holiday in Castlemartyr. It was a great base to have for day activities such as Foto, Cobh, Spike Island and other Adventure activities in the area. Would highly recommend the Mews. Outside landscaping could be improved in the courtyard. It's lacking in view of it's other surroundings.

Perfect mix

Lovely accommodation spotlessly clean overlooking the estate. Andy was a prompt and most helpful host. The bonus for us was the location right at the heart of the old castle beside 5 star bar and restaurants with the added benefit of our own space for the children. One small item would be good to have access to the pool at a fee
