About the host
Hosted by William Fraser
I am a practicing physician, researcher and professor. My son is the town manager in the municipality where the property is located.
Why they chose this property
The property has been in the Fraser family since 1818. My grandfather purchased part of the property in 1932 from a Fraser cousin. My father purchased the remainder of the property in 1960. The site was developed as a fishing and hunting resort in the early 1900s by a Fraser cousin. My children and I are maintaining the family tradition, as guardians and developers of this remarkable site, located in the middle of a National wildlife reserve.
What makes this property unique
The peace and quiet, and the natural beauty that comes 'dropping slow' are the unique benefits. The National Wildlife Reserve is a wetlands site of international importance, as recognized by the Ramsar Agreement.
