The Property
The Refúgio Guest House is set in a peaceful and amazing scenery over the São Vicente valley. It's located at a 6500 square meters property with two houses on it (Quinta O Refúgio and Refúgio Guest House).
Our privileged location makes it easy to access anywhere in Madeira Island by car. Just in 45 minutes drive from the airport, 30 minutes drive from Funchal or in a 10 minutes walk to the Village center where you can find some, an ATM machines, Banks, Pharmacy, Coffee shops, petrol station and bus station. At a 18 minutes walk you will face the great North seashore where you can find nice bakeries, a small supermarket and several restaurants and take-a-way where you can appreciate a good meal at a very good price.

The House
The Refúgio Guest House is a spacious and comfortable house with a homey and rustic aura. This house is perfectly set up for unforgettable holidays for families and friends that are looking for a retreat in the middle of nature!
The house is a two-storey level house with 5 bedrooms with queen size beds and 3 bathrooms. At the first floor you find 1 suite + 4 bedrooms, a shared bathroom, the kitchen, the dining area and a fireplace in the hall. Downstairs there is another suite with double bed and a bathroom, the living room with fireplace.
On the outside you will find beautiful gardens and terraces and also a stream that runs besides the house which gives you a peaceful and relaxing ambience. On the front door terrace there are hammocks, a swing and sofás to enjoy the silence and the view. For more sunny days we recommend our barbecue and wood hoven at the entrance terrace. You can maybe try to make your own pizza recipies.

Common Areas
The kitchen is fully equiped, with all the mod-cons. The living room is set on the ground level and it's a big salon organized into 2 separated areas: one is around a 2nd fireplace and the other is placed on a lower level around the big tv.

The Bougainvillea Suite is a 13 sqm Suite that has a queen size bed with a private bathroom, a large terrace, a 32" tv, a wardrobe and a drawer.

The Hydraingea Suite is a 12 sqm Suite that has a queen size bed, with a private bathroom a 32" tv, a wardrobe and a drawer.

The Protea Room is a 13 sqm Bedroom that has a queen size bed, with a 32" tv, a wardrobe and a drawer.

The Magnólia Room is a 13 sqm Bedroom that has a queen size bed, with a private bathroom a 32" tv, a wardrobe and a drawer.

The Agapantus Room is a 12 sqm Bedroom that has a queen size bed, with a small balcony, a 32" tv, a wardrobe and a drawer.

Towels, hairdryers, as well as bedclothes are available. We also provide a Crib, Cot/s and high chair for infants if needed. We have Free Parking and Free WIFI.

Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. It's foreseen a smoking area in the Balcony.

If needed we can provide airport transports at an additions cost or facilitate grate deals on rental cars (contact us for more information).

Please refer in your booking if children are joining, expected arrival time, any other special request or with relevance to your stay.

For more adventurous people, the surrounding areas have fun activities to do such as surf, bodyboard, hikes, etc...
