This beautiful and comfortable 19th century apartment has just recently been refurbished to a high standard and is situated in the historical harbour town of Anstruther, just a pitching wedge away from the North sea.

Local amenities, pubs & restaurants including the world famous Anstruther Fish Bar are but a short walk away. This property is situated directly along the Fife Coastal Path for walking enthusiasts, St Andrews "The Home of Golf" is a quick 10 min drive.

The accommodation offers 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom en-suite and a family shower room, both rooms have zip & link beds which can be changed to the configuration that suits your needs.

The Old Surgery

This property was a good find. Very clean and in great condition with lovely touches such as leaving the Doctor’s name plaque on the door. Excellent communication re finding it and all in all, a lovely weekend for us.

Sets the bar high

This was the most amazing, clean, comfortable space to stay. We really wish we just booked the whole vacation here. It really is spotless, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are super comfortable and all linens are just a notch above for a really comfortable stay. Close to St Andrews, the Wee Chippy is super tasty and a short walk away, and so is the beach! Bruce was so kind and friendly…definitely take his advice on all things Anstruther. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous Visit!

The only reason we came to Anstruther was because we saw these great reviews and wanted to see the place that came so highly recommended! It was everything and more. The place is so clean it is GLEAMING, and it is very thoughtfully stocked. Soft huge towels and comfortable beds make for a lovely stay. The town of Anstruther is so charming, we fell in love with it, and hope to come back some day. You will not be disappointed—you’ll love your stay here!!

Christmas break away - Old Surgery

We found the property to be exactly as advertised - very comfortable (huge bed in double room and nice en suite), nice decor, well equipped and very clean kitchen. On the main road through the village but really not too noisy so we were not disturbed. We would definitely use again in the future.

Lovely stay

Our stay was great and better than I expected. We were there to visit St Andrews university and were very pleased with our rental. First our guests were very helpful and attentive. The apartment was really clean which I appreciated. Some added details were lovely- ear plugs in the night table drawer, Coffee pods, tea bags, cleaning supplies in the kitchen, a book of instructions and suggestions. Honestly, it deserves a 5 stars. I would come back again.

We wanted to stay in St. Andrews but because of the Walker Cup we had to expand our search, so glad we did. The place was amazing very clean with professional host everything you need. The town was a great find my wife loved the coffee every morning from Coast and fish and chips from the Wee Chippy was great. Accurate posting highly recommend for a Scotland visit

Beautiful Apartment

This is a beautiful apartment that has been wonderfully decorated. It is very well equipped with everything you will need. The location is great. Anstruther is a lovely little town and the apartment is close to restaurants and the town center. There is a great walking path along the sea. The parking situation made me nervous but we never had a problem with the car. I would rent here again in a second.

Perfect Location to enjoy the East Neuk

The apartment had everything we needed and all was in great condition! We were concerned about parking but it turned out to be no problem. The Coop supermarket was within walking distance and well stocked. We did worry about the crack in the glass door at the entrance as we did not notice it when we first arrived. A heads up would have been appreciated!!
