Rowan Cottage sleeps up to 6 adults plus one child under two in a cot. Rowan Cottage is the ideal holiday cottage for families, groups of up to three couples and parties with a guest who would prefer not to go upstairs, as the master bedroom suite is on the ground floor and is accessible from the front of the house and the rear.

Rowan Cottage is the ultimate getaway. Located in the small hamlet of Tresean, between Cubert and Crantock and only a half mile walk along a country lane from Cubert Common, which leads to Polly Joke Beach.

Rowan Cottage is a detached, beautifully presented, delightful period cottage. The accommodation is laid out over two floors and surrounded by a beautiful garden, enclosed by Cornish stone wall and a five bar gate.

Step into the property on the ground floor and to your right, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen and a cosy and comfortable sitting room. On your left is a dining room which overlooks the garden and leads on into the master bedroom with en-suite and comfy king-size bed.

Upstairs in the property you'll find two further bedrooms and a bathroom. To the left (at the top) of the stairs you will find a bedroom with a cosy and comfortable double bed with shuttered windows overlooking the front garden.

To the right of the stairs is another bedroom which can be laid out as a twin with single beds or as a super-king.

Between the two bedrooms, on the landing, is the second bathroom. Here there is walk in shower, pedestal sink and WC.

The property has an enclosed garden, the front garden faces South West, so benefits from the sun all day, and is laid to lawn with lots of planting and pretty flower beds. There is plenty of room in the garden so surf boards, bikes and beach paraphernalia can be stored. To the rear there is a courtyard garden (decked) which has direct access via French doors from both the sitting room and master bedroom.

This cottage will appeal to those who enjoy being able to walk to the beach, yet be a short drive from all of Cornwall’s sporting and other attractions. Rowan Cottage is easily accessible to the South West Coastal Path, which will also suit those who like to walk a bit further than to the beach and pub!

Amenities: Oil central heating, wood burning stove. Double oven and hob, microwave,dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine. Smart TV, TV with freeview, WIFI. Fuel and power inc in rent. Bed linen and towels inc in rent (beach towels are not provided). Travel cot and highchair available on request, stair gate in place, fitted to the wall, cannot be removed. Off road parking for 3 cars. Front enclosed garden with lawn, patio, table and chairs and gravel paths. Rear enclosed courtyard garden with charcoal BBQ, table and chairs. Outside hand held hot water thermostatic shower. Two well behaved pets welcome. Shop and pub 0.7 miles. Note: This property has a check in time of 4pm. Note: There is a refundable Good Housekeeping Bond of £300 on this property. Note: No stag/hen or similar. Note: The summer house in the garden is not for guest use. Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: Crantock is a small Cornish village, set back from the coast, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.
