Custom home in St Mary’s Glacier

High end rental!! Professionally managed. Don't risk staying somewhere not clean and taken care of. 3 bed (two king beds, and bunk bed) also two twin beds in loft for overflow. One full bath and one 3/4 bath. Large deck with gas grill overlooking the creek. Fully stocked gourmet kitchen and washer and dryer for your convenience. Dish Network and Internet included! Cozy up on the couch the warmth and ambiance of the pellet stove. Convenient location right off of Fall River Road.

You will not find a nicer VRBO for the money. Enjoy some great hiking. Fish at one of two private lakes (two fishing badges included with your stay). Two kayak permits also supplied-must bring your own kayak though. Grill out on the deck and enjoy the creek and wooded backyard

Right down the trail head for the glacier hike. Bring your own atv and enjoy the many trails. Several rafting outfitters 10 miles away.

11 miles from Idaho Springs. Enjoy the boutique shops, bars, restaurants, and Argo Mine tour.

If you visit the Rocky Mountains ANYTIME in winter, a 4 wheel or all wheel drive is HIGHLY recommended. Please be prepared!

Had a wonderful stay and hope to be able to stay again, making it a new tradition! The house was beautiful, scenery spectacular and all the while a great escape with lots of options to get out and experience the area. This is a wonderful property and the host was great about responding to our questions. The property was as described in the listing. It was clean, the check in process was smooth, and the host provided supplies for travelers that may have left common things at home. Do read the instructions on how to find the place. The property is just outside of downtown Idaho Springs and nine miles up the mountain but it is located near the glacier and across the road from Glacier Grind coffee house. It’s a great location. Our party definitely loved their stay!

Great place! I think I didn’t read the listing right or I just misunderstood, but this place is on the mountain, like 10,000 ft. It’s BEAUTIFUL! Only issue for us was we aren’t used to that elevation, so restless sleep and headaches. But that doesn’t take anything away from the beauty of the property! The patio and deck were great to sit on for morning coffee.

What a beautiful place! The cabin was well stocked with necessities, very clean and roomy.The smell of the pine trees and the sound of the creek in the back just made this place extra special! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!

This house had all the things you would need during a long or short stay. There were other houses near by, but it felt so private and peaceful. The creek was our favorite part. The only issue we had was with elevation sickness. That was not the houses fault, but my lack of research. We found out on our last evening that a moose lived up the hill but we weren't able to see it. A great place to stay overall.

We had a great time at this gorgeous home in St. Mary's Glacier. The home is completely renovated. Pictures describe the location 100%. The owners were very responsive and provided many amenities for me and my family. Overall, great experience and great location. The home is right next to a creek which our daughter visited every day of our stay. Hopefully, we will be back. I highly recommend this home. Thank you!

Beautiful, spacious well-maintained home. It snowed when we were there and you really do need an AWD vehicle. We did, and had no trouble with the steep, winding access road.

Our stay was during a very large wind storm and the power company shut off power to the area. The host did an excellent job of communicating with us about the situation and worked with us when we had to make modifications to our stay.We have stayed at this cabin before, it is very comfortable and in a beautiful location.

This was our 5th stay at this property and as usual it did not disappoint. The location is amazing as well as the amenities. We got some Colorado snow on our last night(at least 8”). The owners are great, responsive to all needs and very respectful of privacy. Will definitely plan another trip here soon.

The owners of this home go above and beyond in their consideration of their tenants. Everything you think you'd need on a trip is already here! The kitchen is fully stocked, the place is clean, and there's a river nearly next to it. My sister and I walked 5 min to the St Mary's Glacier trailhead. The owners are very communicative. There's plenty of room! Idaho Springs is only 20 min away with lots to do. You can't go wrong with this place!!!Just something to consider for those of us that own older cars...it's 11 miles from Idaho Springs to the house. In that 11 miles, you climb 3,000 feet. I have a 2008 Honda which did great (duh, it's a Honda ), but the temperature gauge did start creeping up a bit. Nothing I couldn't handle, just threw the heat on and opened the windows and it was fine. But it's definitely a climb. Also, just be aware that you're actually in a town called Alice, or at least that's what my weather app said. Alice is 3,000 feet above Idaho Springs, and even though it's only 11 miles away, it's 10-20 degrees colder up there, so plan appropriately.

This property is beautiful and peaceful! Its so very close to St. Marys Glacier, and there is a coffee stand across the road. Its very spacious, clean, and a creek is right behind the house. I cannot reccomend this rental enough!

We first bought our own property in St Mary's in 2009 and quickly fell in love with the area. We purchased our current home in 2013 and also bought the lot next door, on which the previous house had burned down in 2006. My original plan was to build a carriage house, but that plan has morphed into a beautiful 3 bed 2 bath home for your St. Mary's getaway!

Newest and nicest rental in St Mary's! Truly a high end rental with all the fine finishes. All three bedrooms are on the main floor, giving you a wide open great room with vaulted ceilings on the upper level. Enjoy sitting on the deck and listing to the creek.
Convenient location right off of Fall River Road and close to the glacier hike. Walk down the road to do an ATV tour!
