Host profile image
We live and work in London but spend as much time as we can out at the Moulin, working in the forest to coppice the woodland, laying hedges, or cooking and playing outside, in and out of the river.

Why they chose this property

We love this part of France, it's very rural and less populated than further South. There's loads to do for the children, riding bikes and horses, swimming in rivers or pools and canoeing for miles down the rivers. There's great shopping and lovely markets and restaurants.

What makes this property unique

We love the outdoor life, so we have been adapting the old sawmill into a field kitchen with large prep table and fire pit so far. It's a warm place to eat and drink in the evening with a lovely view across the young orchard, gardens and river.
