Casa Patroclo is a characteristic and welcoming apartment situated a few minutes from the town center. It sleeps four people. From Casa Patroclo you will enjoy a characteristic view of the sea and of the tourist port and of the coast. Casa Patroclo is 100 square meters (1076 square feet). It features a panoramic private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, approximately 700 meters (770 yards) from the center of Amalfi, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line a few meters (feet) away and the closest beach (Amalfi beach) at roughly 800 meters (half a mile).
Casa Patroclo is located on the second floor of a five story building. You will reach it from the street level going up a route that includes approximately 130 stairway steps. The building has no elevator.
You will not need a car to stay at Casa Patroclo. If you do have one, you will be able to park it downtown, for a fee, in a public parking lot (being the lot a public one, parking spaces can not be reserved). Terrace
The terrace is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a characteristic view of the sea and of the tourist port and of the greenery.
Please kindly note. The rental price includes: heating; linens and towels; electricity. To be paid at the property:final cleaning EUR 50.00. Tourist tax, paid locally: From April 1 to November 2: EUR 3.00 per person per night for the first 4 nights, EUR 1.50 thereafter. Guests aged under 10 are exempt.
Living Room
The living room is paved with lucid blue majolica tiles. The furnishings are simple and comfortable. The furnishings include a sofa and two armchairs. There is a fireplace, for decorative purposes only. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi through a French door. The room also has a window.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen through an access area. It is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the alleyway at the rear of the house. The room also has a window.
Bedroom 1
You will be able to enter the first bedroom through an access area. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). The furnishings include a bedroom chair and a desk. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 2
You will be able to enter the second bedroom through an access area. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). The furnishings include a bedroom chair and a desk. From the bedroom you will be able to enter a small terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom
The bathroom is tiled with lucid sea green majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a bathtub with shower wand and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom through an access area.
Half bath
The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. You will be able to enter it from the kitchen.
