The Old Engineer - Boutique rural retreat

Our self contained boutique accommodation with private entrance and pretty courtyard garden is surrounded by fields.
The accommodation is designed with the guests comfort and luxury in mind. The bed is super king sized with high quality Egyptian cotton bedding, we also offer the option of twin single beds, please request this when booking. There’s a sofa to relax on, a smart HD TV with Free Sat channels and a comfortable dining area next to the well appointed kitchenette which includes; a Fridge with Freezer box; double induction hob; microwave; and sink. On arrival we provide a loaf of bread, marmalade and jam, muesli, tea and freshly ground coffee and milk, which you can prepare and enjoy at your own leisure.

We are perfectly situated to make the most of Kent’s fabulous attractions, including the gardens at Sissinghurst Castle, excellent local vineyards to tour, Bedgebury Pinetum offers walks and various off-road bike routes and many National Trust properties to visit. We are a 5 minute drive from the Hop Farm which stages many events. There are lovely country walks and we also benefit from some highly acclaimed restaurants and pubs in the area.

We're located between Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone, Paddock Wood and its train station is a 10 minute drive and London is 50 minutes on the train.
