This condo was in a great location near the pier and beach, close to dining and bike rentals. It was nice and clean.

We had a few issues : cable tv didn’t work well, towels were dollar store variety, bed was soft as a hammock, furniture was very tired. Fabulous location, awesome beach

nice but a few issues...

It was an OK place to stay with an amazing location right near the beach. Somewhat clean, but when you leave they want you to wash and put your own dishes away. This is great, however several dishes we pulled out were dirty - maybe they need to clean or run their own dishes through the washer. There were, literally, 3 pieces of plates, bowls and zero cooking ware. Our power went out and when I called the office, I was asked if I wanted to check the breaker box and look into it. I told her I was not comfortable with this, I think with the amount I paid, they should take care of this. I know the previous reviews mentioned the upstairs noise, but it is crazy... we heard conversations, the TV and lots of banging, moving furniture and such. I think something could be done about this, we heard conversations and could hear the TV shows they were watching. While we were there, a family of five were above us and were somewhat chill and we still heard EVERYTHING. Great location but I think the place could use some upkeep.

NOT Smoke Free - Warning to Future Rentals

As soon as we walked in, we were overcome with a heavy stench of smoke/must. We had to wait until the morning to get a resolution, due to the late hour of our arrival. I double checked, & it WAS listed as nonsmoking. We were also surprised at how the place looked compared to the listing - photos were very well staged. Our main concern, however, was the smell. We all woke up with headaches in the morning. I reached out to the company. They apologized & stated that the cleaning crew did not report a smell and reiterated it was a nonsmoking rental. They stated that they could NOT move us to any other rental (despite having others available) because all their homes are independently owned. They also were not willing to give a partial refund. Their only offer was to send in their cleaning crew which we declined because 1) all our personal belongs were unpacked throughout the rental & 2) if they couldn't detect it the first time and their cleaning process didn't rid it yesterday, it was unlikely to this time. We reached out to VRBO to help but their money back policy did NOT apply to this rental. Other issues to note: cracks in tub, paint peeling in places, no bedding for the couch pull out, mold in the crease of bathroom sink and countertop, designated parking taken by other tenants. We didn't bother to send these issues to the rental company as we knew it wouldn't make a difference.

Great location!

Couldn’t have been a better location. The only negative about this cute place is, I felt enclosed. The pics make it seem really bright and airy. However, due to how close the homes are to each other, they needed to add a privacy fence around every window in the unit. We rented the back of the unit (B). It was certainly better than viewing another home but if you are looking to view out a window, rent the front of this unit not the back. The shower was a bit odd as the door where the faucet is - doesn’t open, so you had to be undressed or get your clothes wet when turning on the shower. Again, the location was super great so i was ok with the above mentioned items. And the

Great Stay

We needed a smaller place for our larger family overflow and your unit was perfect. We actually were able to use the ovens for Thanksgiving Turkey!!! Thank you for a great visit!

Married in SoCal

We came to be married in Lover's Cove in Corona Del Mar. Had a blast and 2nd time staying here. Totally cozy and great location. Would be 5 of 5 stars but the mattress was soft and should be replaced. Otherwise great on all counts.

Charming

Loved this location! We were so close to the beach and could walk to so many restaurants and shops. But a couple of things to keep in mind- There is construction right across the alley and it woke us up bright and early Friday morning with a lot of banging. Not a great start to vacation! Also, the parking is very tight. There are 3 spaces super close together and it’s extremely hard to get in and out of load your car. One of the spaces is right in front of the gate and made it almost impossible for us to get out and around the car to our car. With that being said, I was thankful for a dedicated space that saved me from street parking! All in all, it was a really great vacation with very few complaints 😃👍👍

The pictures overstated the conditions of the Apartment. The furniture was very dated, the lighting was very poor, there was no instructions on how to run the entertainment (television etc.) in either room, all the toiletries were cheap, even the bedding was cheap and dated. Trying to find an xtra blanket was impossible. The room placement instructions were misleading, we thought we were upstairs and we were downstairs. One nice thing, the beach was beautiful.

Great spot near the beach

My son and I rented this place and it was adorable! You can park your vehicle and walk right downtown Newport or walk right to the beach. The kitchen was outfitted with all the appliances and dishes that we needed. Beach towels were supplied. I would definitely rent here again. Beachview was amazing and super responsive if we had any questions.

We had a great time. The place was very comfortable but could use some better pillows. We were in walking distance to every place we wanted to go which was just what we wanted.

Awesome location

Great little spot as a base of operation. Beach and boardwalk were super close. House was nice and clean. Parking is definitely tight and there was construction on both sides so noisy on weekdays. Hopefully that all ends soon :) We felt it was a great value for the area.

Cute property- Great Location

We stayed in all three units with friends and family. Our house was the one bedroom, one bath and it was super cute and perfect for our family. Check in was beyond easy and location was perfect! I appreciated all the information that was provided to guide us around the area. I would not only stay again, but recommend to anyone.
