Awesome and off the grid
Very clean and close to glacier park and not far from Columbia falls , or white fish , and Kalispell 😉
Very nice, comfortable and convenient to the national park. For 2 people it is perfect.
Coram cottage - nice
Clean Anand comfortable. Plenty of room for two people could be crowded with 4. We had a a party of 4 but two wanted to camp. They slept on the very nice and large covered porch. Porch was also a great place to unwise after active days at Glacier NP.
A cute cabin near west glacier.
Well equipped and conveniently located. The only issue is the train, it passes really close and honks the horn on every occasion, sometimes 3-4 times a night. Nevertheless, still recommended.
Glacier Park Hiking Trip
This was a great location for visiting the Glacier Park area. My wife and I hiked several days and came back to relax at the cabin each night. It was clean and well kept. Had everything we needed. We would love to go back!
Cute cabin close to glacier national park
The cabin was as described with one bedroom, a common living area and well equipped kitchen and is very close to the west end of Glacier National Park. The kitchen is equipped with a toaster, microwave, stove, coffee maker and refrigerator. It was also nice to have coffee powder, sugar and some basic spices readily available.
The bedroom has a double bed that can sleep 2. The common area has a recliner couch which can sleep 2 but in my opinion is more suited for 1 person. While the 2 ends of the couch recline almost all the way, it does not lay out flat making it a little uncomfortable to sleep on for 2 people. As mentioned in another review, the bed in the bedroom is also noisy and creaks quite a bit.
The train is loud in the night (passes perhaps twice?) but would not be a disturbance if you are a sound sleeper (some of us were affected while others didn’t hear the sound in the night).
We used the air conditioning on the last night of our stay and it worked well. However, the fire alarm started beeping randomly in the morning around 6:30 am and would not stop even with the doors and windows being kept open (and no detectable smoke or fire in the vicinity). We finally had to remove the battery after 30 minutes of the fire alarm beeping. This was definitely not a pleasant experience but hopefully a rare occurrence.
Overall, I think the cabin is a nice place to stay if you are a group of 3 or fewer number of people visiting glacier national park and if you are not a light sleeper.
