About Jeff Long
For the past 42 years I have traveled the world, been to fabulous places and met wonderful people. I believe the best was to travel is to immerse yourself in local hospitality, rather than international chains. As a traveler, the most heart warming feeling is to arrive somewhere and be greeted by a local person with a welcoming smile. This is what you can expect when visiting us, at this Designer Downtown Home. Happy Trails through Life, Jeff

House was perfect for what we needed.
The property was clean and met all of our needs during our stay.
Met our expectations and needs
Cute bungalow in a changing neighborhood. Can't really walk or run safely yet in this neighborhood so plan on having a car or using Uber, which works efficiently in Tampa.
Property manager, Jeff was welcoming, timely and helpful.
Parking for one vehicle, great outdoor space with a table and a gas fire pit under an awning was a real treat.
Easy, easy access to downtown Tampa and all its fun places. Just one television encouraged lots of conversation and outdoor time! No additional books, games or game consoles, but in Tampa...really you should just go on an excursion.
Helpful hints: A drip coffeemaker in the kitchen. There were filters and coffee there, but no sugar! Make sure to bring your own bug repellant and plan to get tissues.
All in all, we enjoyed this well-decorated home and can't wait for the neighborhood to completely transition!
Nice place to stay with same comforts of home.
The home is nice with an updated kitchen , bath, and bedrooms. It is conveniently located to major attractions in Tampa. I've read some reviews that the neighborhood is "sketchy". These people are probably not use to urban areas. This community is going through a revitalization and is safe. The communications was superior with the property manager.
Comfortable for a family of 4
Very comfortable home in Tampa. We were close to all the activities we wanted to do (Downtown Tampa, Bush Gardens, PaddleBoarding, and Clearwater area). Jeff was fantastic to work with - even turning on the lights when we knew we would be arriving for the first time after dark. Inside of house was immaculate - Beds were comfortable- Kitchen had everything we could need - washer and dryer were a great bonus! We were uncomfortable with the area surrounding the home but felt safe inside the home.
It was clean and beautifully kept. Had anything you could need in the kitchen. Modern amenities. Sweet and private backyard with fire pit and grill. Near everything as well. No complaints at all. Only suggestion would be to drive or Uber by night as some surrounding areas could be a little questionable at this time. Thanks Jeff:)
The house is cute, clean (after the cleaning lady came) and fairly well-stocked but when we arrived at approximately 10:00 pm after a long day of traveling we found beds unmade, dirty floors, dirty towels, etc. It had not been cleaned after the previous guests checked out. We contacted the owner’s partner and made arrangements to stay overnight at a nearby hotel. The owner’s agent met us the next day and paid for our hotel rooms but the delay cost us some of our vacation time as we had planned to do laundry, stock up on supplies, etc. the night we arrived. We were unable to check in until noon the next day. We informed the owner’s partner that we felt we should have received a free night due to the mix up and to make up for the inconvenience but we were charged the full amount for our stay. After the initial problem was resolved and we had access to the house our stay was OK.
If you plan to stay here be aware that we were provided 3 washcloths for four people staying 4 nights. We had to wash towels daily in order to have a clean washcloth. The industry standard is 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths per guest. The kitchen had an adequate number of towels but lacked dish rags and had a sponge that was previously used.
Let's not forget about Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Lowry Park Zoo, University of Tampa, University of S. Florida, Florida Medical Centers, Bayshore Boulevard (3 1/2 miles of un-interupted sidewalk to walk, jog, bike and cross train) while enjoying the breathtaking views of Tampa on one side and million dollar homes on the other. Riverwalk, Florida History Museum, Manatee Viewing Park, Dolphin Boat Tours, Cruise Lines to the Caribbean. Canoe, Kayak and Paddle board rentals.
