This 3 bedroom condo has an unbelievable view of the pool and deck area of this new ultra modern condominium complex .A breath taking view from the master suite and the living room is a great way to start the day watching the sun come up over the ocean. A breath taking view as the sun sets over the bay on your 'Bay balcony' with outdoor Grill is just as grand. The master bedroom features a king bed, a full bed is in the second bedroom and a full trundle bed is in the third bedroom. Professionally decorated in a 'Contemporary Beach' type style, this is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quality time.

The Sapphire Spa features great treatment options and the very friendly staff makes a visit a true relaxing experience at reasonable prices.
The great part of this complex are the resort amenities! A 24 seat home theater is also available for your pleasure. There are nightly movies played at 7 pm. he football field long pool is a eye opening treat!! Several cabanas (extra fee) are available for 1/2 day & full day rent. Cozy loungers circle the pool with high and low spots to wade or swim.

Amenities and Vacation Essentials Provided

Every stay at Sapphire #1302 includes a complimentary starter kit stocked with essential vacation items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee and filters, olive oil, and basic seasonings. For your comfort, we recommend bringing a few personal favorites such as beach towels, sunscreen, extra blankets, bottled water, or baby items. These small extras will make your stay even more relaxing and worry-free.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Please note that, in addition to rental units, Sapphire is a residential property. Many of the units are occupied by owners that live here full time. Upon booking, you will receive a list of the Sapphire's rules and regulations. Guests are asked to respect and obey the Sapphire's rules so that everyone can enjoy their time at the resort. This brief note is to emphasize the fact that the Sapphire vigorously enforces these rules. Failure to abide by them may result in fines and eviction. They have everything!

This place has everything you could possibly need for a home away from home. Very clean and well maintained.

The property is very well taken care of and clean. The workout room, pool and hot tub are also very clean and beautiful. We really liked the amount of security they had all over the property at all times. We felt very safe!

Wonderful experience

Everything was great. The property is beautiful, we love the pool and spa and the easy access directly to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would have liked more comfortable living room chairs that are more condusive for family lounging and relaxing together and umbrellas around the pool would be nice. There is very little shade but we're not complaining. Great stay!

Disappointing

The resort pool - which is the main reason we chose this place — was being resurfaced. We were not informed prior to arrival and still charged an exorbitant resort fee. This unit also looks out directly into the rusty, messy rooftop of the adjacent building.

Everything was great!!! Except dishwasher leaked....

First time we used dishwasher it leaked all over the kitchen floor. We would just put a big towel on the floor. I left a note on the dishwasher what the problem was so hope this backs to SPI to fix it....

Starship Test Launch

We came as a family to watch SpaceX make history with its Starship test launch and wanted to be close to Isla Blanca Park. My son said Sapphire was the place to stay and it truly was! This is a beautiful condo that is fully stocked. We spent a lot of time in the condo because the weather was a bit chilly and windy so we didn't hang out by the pool or ocean during the day, but did enjoy the hot tub every night. We had zero issues; check in/out was easy and the condo had everything we could have needed. It even came with beach chairs and a buggy, though we didn't use them. The master bed was the most comfortable master we have ever experienced in any location! Our unit was directly opposite the rooftop of Margaritaville where NASA and SpaceX set up filming headquarters! Though we couldn't see the launch from the unit as we were hoping, getting to talk to people during setup was a bonus! We plan to return for sure!

Vacation

We have stayed at Sapphire over 13 years for summer vacation. This time was very different. Usually, we like sit out on the balcony in the evenings, however the karaoke at The Pearl from 6-10 is brutal. So, after all of these years I will have to reconsider. The other issue is the cabanas. If we are spending the money to lease a condo then we should have the right to rent a cabana. The front desk told me to call the owner and ask him to reserve for us and we pay. So, we did. The owner stated that the board said renters cannot reserve. Well, I think that is crazy especially when the cabanas have no one in them for the majority of the day and the owners may come for 2-3 hours. Regarding this condo the only thing is just the shower curtain and rod really need to be replaced and instructions for the dryer to empty water would have been helpful. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home.

Perfect for Families

We traveled for spring break with 3 kids and this unit and property were perfect for us. The pictures and view were very accurate. We were notified the Sapphire pool was still closed prior to our arrival and were worried that we'd have less pool options, but the Pearl pool was so easy to get to and perfect for the kids. We loved the ease of being able to walk to the beach and the pool from this unit. We watched a movie in the theater room with the kids and they loved that experience. Overall it was a great vacation for us and we can't wait to come back.

Check in was a pain. Had to go offsite to check in. That process involves nothing as they only directed us to the property. Considering it was a busy night on SPI it added a good 30 minutes to long travel day. Checking in room was nice. As advertised. A quick walk to check out the main pool area were shocked to see it was EMPTY! Asked front desk and they said it would be complete Monday. It was never compete during our stay. So we had to go to the adjacent PEARL to get to pool and at times was busier than they could handle as that hotel was under construction. When it came time to use the laundry we found a dryer that didn’t work. A call I had a person come look and said they would have to get a tech. We never saw that tech and were forced to go offsite for laundry wasting valuable vacation time in laundry mat. Also had issue with main living room light and fan. Never repaired. Dishwasher had issue and was repaired. In the end we made the best of it, but we feel for what we paid we should have go let much more. Very dissatisfied in this and will never recommend or return here.

Not what we expected.

We rent this condo in late spring of 2021. This was our 2 month stay, January and February 2022, on South Padre Island. Cost $4,600. It was outdated, tired looking. The patio door, very hard to open or close. It was fixed within 2 weeks. Rail was broken. Whirlpool tub did not work. A week after we arrived we were told that the pool would be closed for improvements for approximately 1-3 months. Spi rentals quickly blamed The Sapphire resort for not informing the renters that this was going to happen during there stay. The worst part of this was listening to the sand blasting 8:00-5:00, 7 days a week until we left Feb.28th. It was so loud no one could sit on there balconies. If we would have know this we would not have rented. The staff at the Sapphire and SPI rentals were super.

3 day getaway

We enjoyed our stay! We picked the perfect days to go because we had great weather. Enjoyed the restaurants. Enjoyed golf at South Padre Island Golf Course. It was all around a fun trip. Hope to come back one day.
