About David Zimmerman and Roxanne Bartsh
Hi Folks... My name's Jack. My people, Dave and Roxanne, purchased this building in 2001 before I was even born. Dave has been working on renovation of this building and Roxanne owns Wild Ginger Boutique which is on the first floor of the building. The 3 of us moved into an apartment in December 2013 so we are right here to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I look forward to meeting you!

Easily 5 out of 5 stars!
This is an excellent place to stay in SE MN!! Roxanne and Dave are wonderful hosts, and the apartment is in the heart of beautiful Zumbrota. Plenty of room, great kitchen and bathroom, and cozy surroundings. Groceries are an easy walk, as is a paved walking trail. Many, many stores and arts opportunities—don’t miss Wild Ginger, Bridget’s coffee and Luya (to name a few.) Thank you Dave and Roxanne!!
A great little spot!
The apartment was amazing! I love the little bit of history outside the door... How they kept the old but also updated it to a clean, beautiful apartment. The town is so cute... Plenty of shopping! You don't see towns like this anymore! Owners let us store our bikes inside and bring the dog... It was just great! Can't say enough good things about it!
What a pleasurable apartment! Cozy, convenient..I just want to move in and stay!
Beautiful is correct.
We loved staying in this apartment in Zumbrota. The charm and character of the old building was an added bonus to our girls getaway. Convenient location and all the added amenities made it feel like home. Comfortable beds, washer and dryer, complete with detergent, really nice bath towels and plenty of hot water were very much appreciated. We've stayed in many places from the Florida Keys to the wine region of California and this apartment in the unique town of Zumbrota is quite a find and quite a bargain. The owners were quick to answer questions, getting in and out was a breeze. We are definitely looking forward to another visit.
Your best lodging option in Zumbrota. Clean, cosy, historic. Right in the middle of downtown. Literally a block from Crossings at Carnegie, right above the quilt shop. Restaurants and grocery store within a block radius. I'll be back!
Pleasant and convenient. Our second time staying here. We will return without hesitation.
Zumbrota is becoming a real arts community. Stay for the music concerts on the weekends at the Zumbrota State Theatre or Crossings at Carnegie. Check out the links for ZAAC and Crossings. If you need a place to stay as you visit Mayo Clinic, you couldn't ask for a nicer place to relax after a day of appointments. We are only 20-30 minutes from Mayo Clinic.
