About David Zimmerman and Roxanne Bartsh
Hi Folks... My name's Jack. My people, Dave and Roxanne, purchased this building in 2001 before I was even born. Dave has been working on renovation of this building and Roxanne owns Wild Ginger Boutique which is on the first floor of the building. The 3 of us moved into an apartment in December 2013 so we are right here to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I look forward to meeting you!

Good location for enjoying the arts in Zumbrota.
We enjoyed our stay in your apartment. Convenient for our needs. Clean. Spaces for sitting. Thanks!
Cozy, welcoming place.
David and Rachel have a perfect place for a winter visit. I wanted a cozy Christmas spot and my expectations were met 110%. Apartment 1 has it all- comfy couches to read and watch from. Even the most comfortable pillow on my entire mult-state trip. It’s handy for a walk to the covered bridge. Love it!
Great place to stay! Comfortable and cozy!
Loved the space. Very easy to access and great communication. A little trouble with taking two showers with hot water but overall a great stay.
Thank you for the five star review! We try hard to make our guests stay as easy and comfortable as possible. The lack of hot water must have been a fluke. We have a 100 gallon water heater the serves Apt 1 and our apartment. We must have all taken showers and washed clothes at around the same time. I don’t know. We’re happy you had a nice stay regardless.
We had such a lovely stay. We wish we could have stayed for more nights! Everything was cozy and clean and we were ever so thankful for the Caribou coffee to make in the am. Thanks!!
Wonderful warm, cozy apartment and hosts in the heart of Zumbrota.
Historical building...fully appointed apartment. Sit around the gas fired "fireplace stove" and relax....in between shopping, hiking and site seeing. Great unique shopping, friendly people...everything within walking distance of apartment. Not a lot of eating variety in Zumbrota but just up the road is Red Wing and many many options. Check out the State Theater, a venue for great musical groups and seasonal productions..if you time your stay right you can be part of this vibrant entertainment community. Heard that in the summer there is music in the park...beautiful park to hike in. on trail..for miles along the Zumbrota River ..or just go for a short run or bike..
Zumbrota is becoming a real arts community. Stay for the music concerts on the weekends at the Zumbrota State Theatre or Crossings at Carnegie. Check out the links for ZAAC and Crossings. If you need a place to stay as you visit Mayo Clinic, you couldn't ask for a nicer place to relax after a day of appointments. We are only 20-30 minutes from Mayo Clinic.
