About this property

Rural house with garden and terrace between two natural parks.

Country house renovated two years ago at any whim. It has a modern equipped kitchen including washing machine labadora, living room is attached to the kitchen and there is a sofa bed. In the corridor we can find a small bright studio. The room consists of a double bed with hortopedico mattress and there is an option to put a cot if necessary. The house has a large terrace surrounded by trees and garden, where a table with chairs and an umbrella is located to rest.

In the surroundings there is a kiwi plantation, with a small farm of chickens, and we even have two dogs that are wishing to receive pampering;)

The house is located in the Arratia valley and more specifically in the town of Igorre. Igorre is the largest town in the whole region, has about 5000 inhabitants. It is equipped with a gas station, three large supermarkets, fishmongers, bakeries, pastry shops, clothing stores .... And many bars.

Lovely Cottage

Had a great stay here. Very comfortable and cosy cottage in a nice private and peaceful location. Urtza was a great host, very pleasant and helpful, she immediately sorted any minor issue we had. Hope to return some time

Very peaceful

This cottage is actually newly built, very clean, modern design and well-stocked. I found it to be a great location to visit many places in the Basque region ranging from coast to city to mountains. It was nice not to have to drive out and back in to a city every day. I would stay here again.

It was a very pleasant stay at this accomodation. The host was super helpful and replay very quickly for any questions we had. The accommodation it self has everything you need! Bed I comfy to sleep in. The view outside is beautiful and very quiet. Would definitely recommend it!

Wonderful connection to Basque country

The property was very unique and the housing was updated and clean. Had all the modern conveniences needed. Our host who spoke minimal English was very friendly and available as needed. There were a couple of suggestions to make the stay a bit better: additional towels, roll of paper towels or napkins, and a fly catcher as flies were abundant. This property is a solid 30 minute drive to Bilboa, and was a bit tricky to navigate at first but perseverance paid off for this lovely stay!

Idealer Ausgangspunkt

Wir wurden von Urtza sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Haus ist ideal von der Grösse und Lage. Man kann auf einer Seite rein und auf der anderen raus. Unser Hund hat das sehr genossen, sowie auch die absolute Ruhe. Die haben wir natürlich auch genossen. Um mit dem Hund 1-2 Stunden oder mehr spazieren zu gehen, muss man das Auto nehmen. Urtza und ihr Mann Bikain sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Weil es nicht so sauber war, habe ich mit Urtza gesprochen nachdem sie mich darauf angesprochen hatte weil sie ihre Zweifel hatte. Alojamiento pequeño pero idela para parejas, estuve con mi chico y la perra (grande) y genial, tiene de todo, muy nuevo, limpio, fácil acceso, pero desconectas. Ellos son muy agradables, majos y el perrete también. Un fin de semana por el valle de Arratia con muy buena ubicación
