The Kitchen and Wet Bar are stocked with everything to help you relax and recharge. And if you decide to eat in, you can use the Weber Charcoal Grill on the patio.
The king-size bed in the Master and queen-size sleeper sofa in the Living Room both have new gel-foam mattresses. You will sleep soundly - read the reviews! And there is a full-size washer and dryer in the spacious walk-in closet.
Besides the easy walk to the beach, this South Beach location includes use of the community pool (seasonal) and tennis courts (small fee to all Bluff Villas). Watersports available at the South Beach Marina include paddleboards, kayaks, fishing tours, and dolphin watching. South Beach Marina also offers three seasonally-operated restaurants, gift shops, and a general store. Live entertainment runs all summer and on holidays.

About Tom Ives
I grew up in Solon, Ohio and vacationed on Hilton Head almost every year since 1972...I know, that's a long time! Graduated from Michigan State University's Hotel and Restaurant Management program and moved to DC where I started my career as a hospitality analyst / consultant. Since then I've worked in hotel development, finance, and ownership. And, for the past 25 years, I've worked as a hotel real estate broker selling hotels all over the country. Having traveled extensively, I can tell you there is no better place to come home to than Hilton Head Island - even though I still maintain residences in Atlanta and Hilton Head.

Why Tom Ives chose South Beach
My parents built a home in Hilton Head Plantation in 1990 and for most of my kid's childhood, we used Folly Beach or Coligny Beach, but pretty much forgot about Sea Pines. Then in 2013, we rediscovered Sea Pines and all of its beauty. Plus, The Riverstone Group has now poured nearly $200 million into new Sea Pines Resort amenities like The Beach Club, The Plantation Club, the new Harbour Town Links Clubhouse and all the new improvements to the Marina. So the trick was to find a place walking distance to the beach that wouldn't break the bank. And Bluff Villas was the perfect fit. We bought a two-bedroom condo in 2013 and renovated it top to bottom. Then, in January 2016, we bought 1701 Bluff Villas - a ground floor, walk-out end unit with an expansive view of Calibogue Sound.
What makes this Condo unique
The combination of being able to walk to the beach and walk to the South Beach Marina is unlike any other location on Hilton Head. You can stroll over to the Salty Dog on any evening, catch live entertainment, and watch the boats sail in and out. You can ride your bike from the patio to Harbour Town or anywhere on the island via bike paths. Or if you want to play golf or tennis, it's all doable within a short drive. Finally, our condo is not simply a repaint with new carpeting. It's a total makeover. We've redesigned it functionally and physically to exceed today's lodging standards. Enjoy your stay!

Everything about our 9 day stay was fantastic. The condo was clean, comfortable and in a perfect location with a beautiful Jew of the Sound. Every detail was coordinated and thought out. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Perfect space and location for 2 in Sea PInes
We had a wonderful time staying in this unit. Great location, well designed, high quality construction, and excellent furnishings resulting in great time. Truly felt like home.
Notably - the unit is located past the South Beach Marina, very quiet, but with a short walk to The Salty Dog and other shops there. It's across the street from a small park that blends into the Sound/ocean - so excellent view to the beach. Very comfortable - will come again.
Had a great stay here. Short walk to beautiful beach. Bike path was right there, as was The Salty Dog. Condo was immaculate, the kitchen had nice appliances, and the view was spectacular. Would definitely return.....ohhh, and my husband loved the 2 huge televisions !
We stayed in this condo for three days in March, 2018 and had a wonderful experience. Sea Pines is a lovely property and a great location in Hilton Head. The condo has everything you could need for a great stay. It is nicely appointed with every amenity you could want. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable, the bedding was a good quality, the linens were, as well. There was a short walk to the beach and the The Salty Dog Bar and Restaurant. Since we travel to Hilton Head every year, I would definitely stay in this condo again. Forgot to mention, even though there was a lot of people staying in nearby units, it was very quiet. This is important, especially as you get older. That is why I prefer renting on VRBO instead of a hotel, which is noisy and often more expensive that a rental. The large screen TV's were also great.

Great Property/Great Location
Loved this updated condo with higher-end touches. Owner easy to work with, and has done a thoughtful job remodeling the unit. Appreciated the K bed, walk-in closet, and full size washer/dryer.

Easy 2-minute walk to the beach, and easy 2-minute walk (other direction) to South Beach Marina and Salty Dog.

Our condo is at the south end of the island right next to the Salty Dog Cafe and South Beach Marina. South Beach is considered to be one of the more exclusive beach communities due to the lack of public beach parking and controlled beach access. Therefore, you will have all the resort amenities offered by Sea Pines at your doorstep and still enjoy the privacy and tranquility of our beach location.
