Absolutely superb place.
Absolutely superb place. The owners are warm and welcoming and the cottage far outweighed our expectations. We will be back if we can find some time when it's not booked up. 1 word around amenities, it's quite a distance from local shops/pubs (not really walkable) other than that, amazing

Comfortable, well equipped cottage in a beautiful location.
Comfortable, well equipped cottage in a beautiful location. Perfect for exploring the towns of Hereford and Hay or the black mountains. Friendly, helpful owners too.

We rated good as everything excellent apart from the track up to the farm. We don't have a 4 by 4 and some of the pot holes are a bit interesting. The accommodation is well equipped and comfortable. The views and surrounding country side are both spectacular. Dore Abbey is a hidden gem. A most enjoyable week.

Lovely setting and a comfortable, well-equipped cottage.
Lovely setting and a comfortable, well-equipped cottage. It is accessed by a steep and bumpy track but this is rewarded by the most idyllic, quiet setting with beautiful countryside views. The owner could not have been more welcoming and we were greeted with a delicious cake. We would highly recommend and would to visit again.

Fantastic quiet rural location; wonderful views.
Fantastic quiet rural location; wonderful views. Cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Good location for travelling to places of interest in the county and in to Wales too. Hosts were friendly and had baked a cake for our arrival! We got used to the uphill rough track to the property. This woukd not put us off staying there again.
