We really enjoyed our week at Pear tree cottage.
We really enjoyed our week at Pear tree cottage. It made an excellent base to explore the north of Cornwall. It is very secluded with most amenities being a 10 minute car ride away down very narrow roads. If you want hustle and bustle then it might not be for you but we didn’t mind the driving and loved being out of the way.

Greta was lovely and had put some milk in the fridge and a packet of biscuits by the kettle for our arrival. The cottage itself was very nice and quiet. The TV was very small and unfortunately due to the weather not being too great we returned to the cottage quite early each day. The location of the cottage was very isolated with Tesco's at Callington being the nearest shop. There was nowhere to walk to and if you don't like driving through narrow twisty lanes, this isn't the place for you. I quickly realised that driving to Callington got you onto a main road quicker and didn't add too much extra time onto any journey.
