The house exceeded all our expectations, it was clear, spacious, felt very homely, great location close to the beach. Lovely garden views, great hottub. A local shop at the end of the street. However restaurants and bars were closed midweek aa out of season which we didn't realise till we got there otherwise we would have packed more food. Overall ideal ans would definitely visit again.

The photographs on the website don't do this place justice.
The photographs on the website don't do this place justice. It is huge and the garden is amazing! It is about as close to the beach as you can possibly get and the cottage itself is very comfortable. The decor in some rooms is a little dated and the towels weren't the best but these are minor things. Overall the cottage is great for a family holiday with your dog, plenty to do and plent of places to eat in Harlech, and we would highly recommend!

Cottage is very big.
Cottage is very big. All rooms are big.
But the beds are all really small! Shame they didn’t put a king size bed in the rooms as the rooms could easily take it.
Enough beds for 12 people but table and chairs only for 6.
Huge bathroom & tiny bath.
WiFi really good.
Garden was brilliant for the dogs.
All bins full to the brim but no notice anywhere about bin day.
Lots of kitchen equipment but the frying pans aren’t non stick and need replacing.

The house was very nice! Very spacious lounge and kitchen, with plenty of bedrooms. The large, secure garden provided plenty of space for our boxer dog to run around to her hart's content. With easy access to the beach, as well as a local shop and pub and being only 15 minutes drive from Portmadog, the location and amenities were first class. If I have a critism, it was that the place was, perhaps, a little tired. Although the carpets had odviously been cleaned, there were a few stains here and there. In the kitchen, the cooking utensils had seen better days, with the frying pans having lost their non-stick coating, for example. Having said all of that, it didn't spoil our holiday and we had a great time with all of my family and the dog.

Some things need fixing which could be done easily.
Some things need fixing which could be done easily. There is no lock on the downstairs bathroom for either of the doors leading to it which was really hard work and annoying. The kettle didn’t work and there are no instructions as to how to work the heating or hot water. These are minor things which could be sorted so hopefully the owner will read this and do! The WiFi is terrible but that could be the area. The sitting room carpet could really do with replacing quite tired and stained.
Positives are great though, rooms massive and really nice and light, place is clean. Cutlery and glasses etc all a bit mismatching and worn but kitchen has everything you need (apart from broken kettle!) and massive, photos don’t show how spacious it all is. Bedrooms really big and garden and views amazing.
Overall it’s a really lovely house , could do with some minor things being sorted but it’s perfect for a large group. Our family had a lovely time there. Thank you x

We had a lovely family holiday here this last week.
The property is in a lovely location - just a five minute walk to the beach the beach is beautiful and we spent some lovely afternoons paddling and walking with our little girl and dogs. Harlech itself is up a very steep hill, but once you've conquered that there are some lovely little cafes, icecream shop, picnic sites, and of course the castle. There are lots of wonderful places to explore nearby too.
The only feedback on the property would be that some things do need an update. The kettle needs replacing (only works when you hold the switch down), some of the bedding was very bobbled and would expect better in such accommodation. The downstairs double bedroom also had a rather unpleasant smell when the door was left shut, but with the door open this was fine - but possibly needs a little look at. The property was really well equipped with everything we needed to cook, clean, bake, and relax for the week. The climbing frame in the garden went down really well with our little girl. and all the space was loved by our dogs. All in all, a fabulous week, we would definitely return (just with a new kettle and sheets!!)

We would definitely come back here, was a beautiful home, pictures do not do this property justice as other reviews have mentioned, we left a day earlier due to work commitments, stayed here as this was the closest largest cottage available for our group of 10 climbers for mount snowdon. This was about 30 minute drive from the path we took. Very spacious, all equipped house, full tv package, garden lovely, views amazing. Will be going back again.

The cottage location and style cannot be faulted & this place could be 5 star(it should be 4) if the kitchen equipment was updated(plates all old & chipped, no wine glasses, kettle on its way out, no mixing bowls). The place itself needs a good rehaul-seals on windows have gone, place is a bit grubby, outside furniture is falling to bits. Towels supplied are a hand towel & a medium size(not a bath towel).
its a shame as the place itself could be spectacular for just a small investment in kitchen equipment & a decent cleaner.

Had a great stay, cottage spacious & plenty of room to spread out, had everything we needed plus more! Welcome book would have been useful for heating, recycling & extra towels - it took us a while to work out where these things were, heating came on a odd time in different areas of the house. Some Pots & pans were in poor condition & high chair was a bit grubby but took 5 mins to clean up.
Lots of beds in big rooms! Garden great as was play equipment.
Perfectly situated for beach, train station & mobile fish/chip van although we went to local fish shop in High Street, best fish & chips we had in a while.
