Located in the country near to East Taphouse, this detached, single-storey, lodge style property is nestled in the spacious grounds of the owner’s home. The generous, open-plan living space boasts a contemporary, light and bright design, with large corner sofas, which are perfect for snuggling into on an evening. The French doors open onto the garden with a small terrace area and outdoor furniture, which is a great place for al fresco dining.



Badgers Drift provides idyllic accommodation for couples, both young and old, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you are looking for a central base from which to explore the wider region of Cornwall, then this is a perfect spot to choose.



Boasting a central location, there are many key tourist attractions that Cornwall has to offer situated close by, including the fishing town of Fowey and Looe, and the coastal village of Polperro. Bodmin Moor is only a short drive away to the North. Also within easy reach are the many beautiful gardens on the south coast. The historic city of Plymouth is just a short drive away, where there are many sandy, surfing beaches on the north coast, including Newquay with its zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium.



Alternatively, why not visit the harbour towns of Port Isaac, where the TV series of Doc Martin is filmed, and Padstow, with its variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, including Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. Beach 10½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Loved every minute staying at Badgers Drift. The location was within easy reach of both the coast and the moors. The cottage had everything you required and a big field to walk the dog. We have just had a lovely stay at Badgers drift. The hosts Kev and Sue were very helpful. The cottage is in a great location , with just a 40 minute drive to the south and north cornwall coasts. The cottage has everything you need and was of a very high standard and very clean. It's set in a lovely large garden with fantastic views. There is also an adjoining field, so great for walking our elderly dog. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful week here from 12/9 to 19/9/20 enjoying excellent weather. The cottage is located in the owners extensive and beautifully kept gardens with a South facing aspect making an evening drink outside a delight. Inside is comfortable and spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped and appears to have been recently fitted. There are as many utensils and items of crockery and glassware as we have at home, a spacious fridge freezer is included and microwave, toaster etc. The bedroom is huge with a comfy king sized bed, as you are deep in countryside there is a wonderful view from all the windows. The cottage is well equipped, and spacious and comfy. The cream tea was a nice touch. Just a few items to point out - the fridge is extremely noisy, and its the first cottage that we have been too that didn't have a cafetiere which was most disappointing. Badgers Drift is an ideal touring base for visiting a large number of National Trust properties. We highly recommend visiting Trelissick House, Lanhydrock, Cotehele, and Trerice. All in all, it was a most enjoyable week, and even the weather was good.

We were taken by surprise when we entered this cottage. The size, the space and the views are even better than what you see online. The cottage was well equipped and immaculately clean. Apart from the weather this cottage provided us with the perfect holiday.
