I would thoroughly recommend this property.

I would thoroughly recommend this property. It is nicely fitted and well equipped including cushions for the garden chairs and even a sewing kit! Lovely place to stay, would recommend it as a place to stay, the owner was away the week we were there but told us we could make full use of the facilities, which was nice. The only issue we had for the first few days was that we were inundated with flies in the property, which we think was due to the rotting fruit in the orchard, which wasn't great as we had a bbq on the Sunday and spent a lot of the time stopping the flies getting on the food. Once the gardener came and cleared the orchard we had no more problems. Despite this we loved the property and the surrounding area would stay there again.

Perfect holiday cottage in a beautiful rural setting. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped, with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Luxurious sheets and towels. The Stables is a very well equipped cottage. The quality of the towels and sheets is superb. We had a very friendly welcome and a beautiful home made cake to enjoy. The garden was a super place to relax and dine al fresco and enjoy a glass of wine. The sun shone most days ! We stayed as a couple and cycled nearly every day - straight out from the cottage onto quite country lanes. Had a nice day at Southwold which is a short drive away. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Very well equipped cottage in pretty surroundings. There was nothing that we needed that the cottage didn't have! Added bonus to be able to use the pool, tennis court & table tennis. Lovely walks from the door. Central location to explore Suffolk & Norfolk. Probably the best cottage we have stayed in, especially with 2 teenagers. Personal touches to make us feel welcome. Had a great holiday - thank you!

A lovely cottage in a peaceful location surrounded by fields. Tastefully furnished and extremely comfortable. Very well equipped. We had everything we could need and more. Celia welcomed us and showed us the ropes, having left a huge, deliciously moist, victoria sponge in the fridge. Perfection. Comfortable beds with crisp cotton sheets. Our 16 year old granddaughter loved the pool, as did we. Even the weather was kind to us. We enjoyed visiting castles, houses and gardens and the seaside and had a wonderful week. Would love to return.

A wet week in Suffolk but the location of "The Stables" on outside of Occold, near Eye, in the heart of Historic East Anglia meant we could go North, South or East Coast in hour or under and dodge the rain. The owners were most welcoming and provided a beautiful sponge cake and the amenities were first class with quality wash toiletries and towels provided. A Fast Wifi connection (20Mbps+) meant we could monitor the weather or anything else as good as home. Overall the cottage was a great base for our week to explore the area and would recommend it for 2 couples (both are in effect ensuite) or 2+2 Family.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful, peaceful part of the country.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful, peaceful part of the country. We had a friendly welcome from the owners , the homemade cake was delicious. Would recommend visiting Diss, Eye and Thornham walks. Our best meal during our stay was without doubt the Sunday carvery at the Black Horse pub in Thorndon .
