Greenbank worked well for us but there are a few things that could do with being resolved, the door to the downstairs toilet sticks and it can be quite difficult to get out the feeling is that it will stop opening entirely at some point, the television in the lounge has an intermittent fault and new batteries are needed in the remotes, I also think that really the bunk bed room and the twin room are children’s rooms or one adult as they are rather cramped however overall we enjoyed staying at the house and it worked out well for everything that we wanted to do.

Nice house, well equipped with plenty of parking. A little way out of Keswick but a pleasant walk into town along old railway line. Only downside is the traffic noise from A66 and Penrith Road.

A great 5 bed room semi detached property a 10 minute walk from Keswick Town Centre.
A great 5 bed room semi detached property a 10 minute walk from Keswick Town Centre. Plenty of space for 10 people, a good size kitchen, separate dining room and good size lounge. Three very roomy double bedrooms, a twin which is a bit less spacious and a compact bunk bedroom ideal for children. The house also had a separate boot / drying room for walkers which was brilliant. We will definitely use this property again as we visit the area and walk in the Lakes regularly.

We needed a large family house so that the whole family could celebrate my husband's 70th Birthday, Greenbank was just the job. Great location, nice walk into Keswick, well equipped and we all thought the house suited our needs. Beds were very comfortable, and enough bathroom/shower/toilet facilities for our group of 11.

Ideal house for a family get together.
Ideal house for a family get together. Not the plushest house we have rented but for a family holiday with two under two's and a dog this was not a problem. We had plenty of space in the house and parking for three large cars. Hectors House was ideal for storing pushchairs and muddy boots.
One or two extra items would have helped our stay:
1. Stairgate - we did bring our own but without it with two under2's and a dog we would have had problems.
2. A small welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and perhaps bread would have been nice. We did have time to go to Booth's and stock up
3. A small pan or two would have helped - I know it is a large house but you don't always want to cook vast quantities of things.
4. The cot provided was quite small and not the best quality, fortunately we had our own mattress as well as bedding
The house was a little further from the centre of Keswick than we had thought but we could walk in with pushchairs in about 15mins

Great house with comfy beds and good kitchen.
Great house with comfy beds and good kitchen. Need to know it is a 15-20 minute walk to town centre if you come by public transport and no buses into town whilst Penrith Road shut due to road works

Greenbank is a great house for two families and Grandma! It had everything we needed. Maybe some garden chairs would be good when the wooden benches are wet, and possibly a blind for the velux window on the second floor, but these are minor points. It's further out than we're used to, but the Spa at the petrol station was useful for forgotten shopping. Hoping the cycle track to town will open again. We had a great holiday.

A good size house well equipped for walkers and large families.
In excellent decorative order with very comfotable beds. Large dining area with seating for 10.
Above the average compared to many houses we have rented in the past.
Off street parking for several cars a definite bonus during the crowded holiday season. Decent bbq area.

Have stayed a number of times at Greenbank and always have a lovely break.
Have stayed a number of times at Greenbank and always have a lovely break. This time it served us well as a base for all the family to meet and prepare for my daughter's wedding. Its a great house and base which would suit a family or group of friends. It benefits from having spacious rooms, parking for several cars and the bonus of hectors house a drying room. Some of the house is tired but the owners have been updating the interior and had new Windows. Would recommend :-)
