A pretty barn conversion situated on a small, family run farm with excellent on site facilities, pet pigs ponies and chickens, and surrounded by a myriad of country walks.. All on the Ground Floor:

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Travel cot and highchair available.. Sitting-out area and garden furniture (shared). Private parking for 2 car. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a borehole. . Nestled in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside with stunning views over the surrounding hills and valleys, this converted barn has been lovingly restored by the owners. All on one level, you will find a modern kitchen with granite worktops and plenty of space. For those cosy evenings, a wood burner is the focal point of the living area. There is an outside seating area with table and chairs.

It is nestled between peaceful hillsides, which offer a myriad of country walks, cycle paths and lots more. This holiday home has a large shared play area and the family’s two pot-bellied pigs, ponies and chickens. Matlock Bath and the Heights of Abraham, Gullivers Kingdom and the Mining Museum are five miles away. Chatsworth House, set in 1,000 acres of gardens with fountains and waterfalls is just seven miles. Local pub within walking distance and nearest restaurant 3 miles, during the summer months there is a brewery a short walk over the fields which holds events and local takeaways that deliver.

Clematis Cottage can be booked together with Honeysuckle Cottage (27880), and Jasmine Cottage (UK46725) adjacent to accommodate up to 13 guests.

Fantastic little cottage on a lovely friendly campsite. Owners are on hand and were welcoming and helpful. The campsite had a nice holiday vibe and the cottage is set away from that so was very peaceful. Location is beautiful and only a short drive from Matlock attractions.

We stayed here during half term with our 2 children- we were very happy with everything. The location was ideal- staying on the farm gave them lost of space to explore. The cottage was nice and cosy and ideal for what we needed. The farm is location in a great place for exploring the Peak District. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of minor issues whilst there (self made!) and they were able to sort out quickly. We will look to return at some point I’m sure

Just come back from a one weeks stay with my toddler son.

Just come back from a one weeks stay with my toddler son. The cottage was beautiful, clean and very cosy, a real home from home. It was quiet in the evenings despite the campsite nearby (except for the occasional neigh from the stables!) We made use of the playground and the shop for essentials. We used the kitchen a few nights and found everything we needed. The cottage was also thoughtfully set up for our toddler with toddler plastic plates, bowls and cups. A bed guard and if needed a travel cot and highchair. All of which were clean and useable. The cottage is close by to many attractions and good walking. We did struggle to find a pub to eat in at first because many places don't seem to serve food on Mondays and Tuesday's but half way through the week we found the Red Lion in Birchover which was fantastic.

We had a brilliant week - quiet, picturesque and within easy distance of peak District attractions. Kids loved the farm and the play amenities and the cottage was comfortable, clean and well resources. It was perfect for my 50th birthday can't wait to go back!
