This is a very comfortable and warm cottage, well equipped for all your own catering. It is in beautiful countryside with stunning views and walks from the front door. It is close to many attractive villages as well as the city of Sheffield. Wendy, the owner, was always helpful. We will certainly return and recommend it to others. 4th visit to the cottage, there is nothing not to like.

4th visit to the cottage, there is nothing not to like. Amazing views & so many walks from the doorstep. Discovered the train this visit, station 15 minutes walk down the hill, gives you the option to lose the car for the week & still get about, or walk back from further afield. A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Well equipped. Almost any utensil you could want is provided plus a plentiful supply of pots and pans, crockery and glasses etc. The only reason I would not give it 10 is the absence of a dishwasher, though this is a minor point, really.

Cottage has everything you need.

Cottage has everything you need. Surrounded by stunning scenery & so many footpaths to choose from the doorstep. Plenty of ‘tourist’ places to visit nearby or walk in the hills for peace & quiet. Dog friendly too. Third time staying there & wouldn’t hesitate in booking again.

The aspect and views from inside and outside the cottage are fabulous. Beautifully renovated with all necessary comforts. Quiet lane with access to public footpaths in all directions. A perfect base to explore some of the best of the peak district.

The best holiday this year, very relaxing and brill views, good local walks great for dogs, the accommodation was great with everything you could need for cooking family meals would recommend to friends family and hope to come again sometime
