The cottage was comfortable with a log burning stove and the most amazing views of parkland and deer herds. Walkers and nature lovers paradise with a superb pub and restaurant within few hundred metres and the coast nearby for more specific wildlife. Owners v helpful.

Deer Park Lookout is in a stunning location in Gunton Deer Park. Fabulous views out over the park, lots of deer, sheep and horses to watch and an easy walk across to The Gunton Arms pub, restaurant and hotel. wonderful walks for humans and dogs with sights to visit within the park.
The cottage is warm and comfortable with everything that you could need. Driving to the cottage across the estate made me feel privileged to be allowed to stay there.

Stunning place to stay to watch the deer.
Stunning place to stay to watch the deer.Lots of country walking to do if you want to,but if not light the woodburner sit back relax and watch the deer grazing right outside your windows.Very "offgrid" so if you're constantly on your phone or the internet it's not the place to be as no internet and barely any mobile reception.Very friendly owners and helpful. So many deer in one place.Cottage is cosy and peaceful.Very well appointed with everything you could need.Absolutely loved it.

Was a lovely, peaceful location, very relaxing. Deer all around. Car is essential as it's a drive to anywhere but lots to do within a reasonable distance - ie. Norwich / Cromer / coast / villages etc.

Excellent stay - our 3rd return visit, this time with some friends.
Excellent stay - our 3rd return visit, this time with some friends.
Such a tranquil, idyllic location that makes relaxing a breeze!
Lots of Deer, baby Lambs, various Birds - all outside our windows!
Sheringham (and Park) and Cromer are a stones throw away, and we cannot resist the food and atmosphere at the Gunton Arms.
We'll be back!

The accommodation was excellent, spotless & well thought out with the lounge being on the top floor
The accommodation was excellent, spotless & well thought out with the lounge being on the top floor so you excellent views across the Deer Park. The whole experience was fantastic as most evenings the Deer were actually grazing outside our cottage windows. The Park was only a few miles from Cromer & the coast road, with easy access to Sheringham & the steam railway, also Wells - Next - The Sea which are both lovely seaside towns. There is so much to see & do along this coast line.
It was the most relaxing holiday stay we have had. Once on the Deer Park you are very isolated and not suitable if you enjoy or are looking for the hustle and bustle or night life.
I would well recommend a stay here.
